P0400 is an EGR code. Usually caused by carbon blocking some of the the vacuum ports. It can also be caused by a blocked vaccum hose, misrouted hoses, or even a bad ECM

well the valve seals are very difficult to do on the truck because of the fact I haven't seen a tool out there that can remove the valve spring with having the head still on this vehicle and working for suzuki i have had to take every head off but it may depend on what motor your working on 2.0 2.5 2.7

Actually it probably wasn't customised. That is how they were made. The two sides go together right at the cat converter. There is a four bolt flange at the interface between the crossover pipes and the cat.

I belive it has two belts one that drives the fan and one for the alternator the adjuster for the fan is on the right side and you need a 12 or 14mm socket and use a 14mm long wrench or socket and ratchet to move the tensioner

The 2006 XL-7 with 2.7L engine and auto transmission is rated for 3000 pounds towing. I have never had a problem towing my motorcycle trailer (which also has a ramp on the back) over long distances but the weight was only about 1200 pounds max. If you are just going to tow the boat to and from the cottage on the weekend, and you don't exceed the tow rating of the vehicle, then you will probably be OK. Use the A/T POWER mode of the transmission and use the overdrive lockout button if you travel up to 55MPH. You will pay more for fuel because the engine will rev higher but these engines are built to rev, so it won't hurt them. If you don't use the overdrive lockout, the transmission will do more shifting through the gears on even the slightest grade, which makes it heat up more. At speeds over 60MPH, leave the transmission in its normal mode. Watch the brakes, though -- use the overdrive lockout when going down steep hills to gain some engine braking and save the wheel brakes.

Year of production is not stated. Both these models are stalwarts of the Suzuki stable. GSX 750-F is a sports-touring bike, with a fairly relaxed riding position, plenty of fairing and uses the older generation motor tuned for more mid-range punch. GSXR-750 is a pure sports machine, one of the best handling motorcycles ever made with a power punch capable of frightening most people. Both are very sweet bikes to ride, depending upon the purpose for which you want. The GSX-R carves corners like a razor, immensely capable machine that has limits way above the ordinary rider. Long distance touring on the GSX-R will bring you into contact with people in full leathers, toe sliders and also chiropractors or physiotherapists. The GSX-F is a much more suitable long distance machine and quicker in the twisties than it looks - a deceptively quick machine. Both handle well, make excellent power and are bulletproof reliable with regular maintenance. one has an R at the end of it! but altogether, the Suzuki GSXR with the 1200cc engine is a lot better!!!!!!!

I just fixed the same problem on my 2002 Suzuki Grand Vitara XL-7. The rear door latch handle assembly just needed to be well lubricated. Over time and use the handle kept creeping up, to the point where the tension spring would not push it back down. So it eventually got stuck in the up position to the point where I could no longer open the rear hatch door. I just took some good quality lubricant, such as WD-40 or a teflon spray (made by the same company that makes PB Blaster, sold at most Auto Parts stores or Wal-Mart) and syrayed it up into the door latch handle opening on both sides of the hinged handle. You have to get down on the ground and look up under the black plastic shroud that covers the handle. Work the handle up and down until you are eventually able to get it to go back down by itself. It may take several sprays to get it lubed up sufficiently. Also while you're at it spray some lubricant or liquid graphite into all of your keyed door lock assemblies. Over time these will also seize up on you, from lack of use. Because everybody, inluding myself, uses their keyless entry most of the time.

Remove glove box by squeezing the sides when open then slide off side hinge. Remove white door by squeezing clips then slide out filter.

The golden rule is every 3 months or 3000 miles, but since it is a new car it can go farther. I know that newer cars can go 5 months or ~5000 miles, but honestly Im on the safer side and I never want to take risks with my cars. So I do my oil changes ever three months. If I were u I would do it ever 3 months and maybe ever 4 months if ur gonna push it. Also you can check ur owner manual they have the recommended time in there.

There is no timing belt on a 2 litre Vitara. It has chain-driven cams.
