Why was Confederation considered a good idea?
Confederation was considered a good idea because, once untied, Canada would become more strong and independent. This would not only improve Canada's reputation, but it would save them from being annexed by the United States as well.
Joining together as one would also provide a more stable source of income, and allow colonies that were not totally on their feet, to get back on track because they have the support of the whole Country.

i'm not positive the answer but i just found a cheat i haven't tried yet that you put in on the EA logo screen to unlock every cheat, it is L1 R1 L2 R2 x x triangle square, and if it doesn't work, my way of keeping my motives is put a garden swing in my inventory and go to town square because they have everything you need to top up your motives as long as you have the swing: Hunger: there is always a cofee cart, vending machines, drinking taps and sometimes ice cream and milkshake carts. Hygene: if you splash in the fountain it works just like a shower except your fun goes up. Bladder: there are two toilet blocks at the park. Fun: play with pets, drink coffee, play in fountain or socialize Social: this wear the swing comes in and is a huge help, go into the inventory and place the swing in the park (once you leave the park it'll automatically be back in the inventory) and get on and call someone over and your friendship will be at a hundred in no time (this is good if you want to fall in love with someone) it also works with the rock pool but the swings cheaper and easier. Bed: sit on a park bench and a selection of options will come up, choose power nap and your bed metre will shoot up quicker than if you were in a bed.(coffee gives you a boost in sleep too) Pet motives: Theres something every where for your pet, just check they don't get lonely or stuck in a tree.(you may need a litter box)
and a little trick i found was if you was if you wash your pet in the saloon it will make the pet happier.
sometimes the pets aren't smart enought to drink from the fountain or go to the toilet so they may spew or pee, and if there hungry they will drink any puddles found around the park from people or other pets..
(just by somthing for the dogs to chew before they find a cat toy) and don't worry about scratching posts and alike if your in town square because there is a tree up the back for that. There are all the cheats on this web site :

did you delete the mailbox? if you delete the mailbox on that particular lot, none of the sims will be able to interact with the visitors. as far as i know, if you've already deleted the mailbox, that lot is pretty much screwed. move your family out of that lot and into a new one and this time just deal with the bills. but this is only if you're playing the first sims; i couldn't tell you why if it the second or third sims.

Best thing is to let them skip work for a day and then let them watch tv, play computer games, anything fun! Get those mood bars up to full if you can. Lots of sleep, a shower, dinner and of course visits with their friends. They will cheer up in no time!

The sims 3 base game does not come with weather. As of now, there has been no confirmed weather expansion either. I am sure that EA will come out with some sort of expansion that includes weather though!

well first its a monkey butler and heres how you find it. first put in midas and freeall at the beginning of the game push l and r at the same time to access cheat menu. then go to play game and hopefully the codes worked. go to the bottom category and get the very last one at the very end. put it outside and click release 20 simoleans then a monkey will pop out and start cleaning. hope i was of help. oh and it might help on get a life too but im not sure you should try just in case though. thanks. :)

I don't know. I have just recently - silly me - gone back to a relationship 3 times and have gone for good now. I always thought at one time he had cheated on me but of course denied it all. He did have an affair previous to his wife and slept with someone else that I know of when he was married. I think he is a very good liar and knows the right things to say to get him out of it. I sort of started to see through it after time. It's actually quite sad they have to live their life like that as one day they are going to turn around and see how lonley they are. He became very irrational and the behaviour just wasnt normal to me. I think they start to believe their own bull if they have lied many times. They get use to it and it becomes a habit hard to break. I think sometimes the best thing to do is do yourself a favour and get out of it. You are worth so much more and need someone that will respect you and not fill you full of rubbish you know isn't true. Normally gut feelings are correct - if you are feeling it. Dont let anyone tell you any different!!!

Yes, Once a cheater, always a cheater even if the person doesn't acknowledge it. I know of someone who cheated on his wife got caught with the pregnant girlfriend and obviously thrown out of the house after that. But to this day blames the wife, because she wasn't pretty enough, thin enough, outgoing enough; everything is her fault. That she didn't do things to keep him interested; egomaniac where the world is supposed to revolve around him and where nothing satisfies him. The woman he got caught with is gone, new girlfriend in the picture that had no knwoledge of his background. Now the girlfriend suspects. Why another woman constantly calling their house. Supposed coworker he is to share drive in to work less than 2 minutes from the house and yet he refuses to introduce this co-worker to the girlfriend. Meets her instead away from the house. Has no gumption to wait around for hours to take co-worker home when he wasn't working the rest of the afternoon. Yet he got angry with girlfriends doctor that called him to pick her up from surgery. SO yes once a cheater, always a cheater.

In Sims 1 there is only baby, child and adult. You can make the child or adult in Create A Sim (or CAS). To get the baby you have to have a high relationship with another Sim (male and female, of course). If you are lucky you will get a call from the adoption agency asking if you want to adopt. With much work the baby will eventually turn into a child. Unlike Sims 2 the child will never grow up to be an adult.
So there you have it. Three stages, and only one grows up. If you think this is stupid go buy Sims 2/3. There a whole heap of fun :)

You may be able to find a cheat like this by using google, but be careful, if you don't know what you're doing with it, you can seriously mess up your game, possibly to a point where it will stop working.
Well, assuming you're on a PC, I tried pressing the windows key, ( 2 to the left of the spacebar ) which is just like closing a window; and it goes to the bottom of the tab thingy down the bottom ( sorry my description is rubbish :-S ) then you can just click on it again and it will open fine. ;-) Hope this helps!

Why wont it let your evict the familys in sims 1?
Are you trying to evict a family from a house? You click on the bulldozer icon at the top of the screen and then place the bulldozer over the house you want to evict from and click. It will ask if you want to evict the family, click yes and they are out of there! It then asks if you want to bulldoze the house if no then click no. Place the bulldozer back over the icon at the top of the screen and click. It will go away and you can do what you wanted to do with the house or family.
