How do you change the brake light on a 2002 Toyota Celica?
You have to pop the panels off inside of your hatch, right on the other side of the tail lights, you should be able to see the back of the tail light from there.
How do you change the automatic transmission fluid for a 2002 Toyota Celica?
Unbolt the drain plug bolt on the side of the tranny to drain.
Put bolt back in.
Undo filler bolt higher up on tranny and using plastic filler tube attached to tranny fluid bottle (Dextron III) push tube into hole and keep bottle above hole, then turn valve on tube connector to "on" to let fluid flow. You may need to squeeze bottle.
You will probably have to remove some engine covers on the newer models. I typically pass the bottle up between the radiator and the engine to get a good flow. Luckily, you can't overfill easily, because when it's full, it will run out! You just have to quickly plug the hole up when you pull the tube with the bolt.
Get the filler tube w/connector at Autozone or similar store. Autozone is good for batteries, hoses and fluids. Better elsewhere for parts as they sell rebuilt, not "re-manufactured" parts rebuilt by in Mexico -who just slap parts together without regards to tolerances or specs. You get what you pay for brother.
Always get re-man vs. rebuilt!

Who has a wiring diagram for 86 celica mass air flow sensor?
Toyota repair manual and electronic wiring diagram suppliment. Available thru Toyota parts dealers. There really isn't "wiring" inside the mass sensor box itself, so you wouldn't find a schematic in the books, but a check procedure to test them for normal ops in main manual. They are pretty "bullet-proof", so unless you are modifying the sensor for cold air, it is probably NOT the issue... the ECM would lead you to believe it is with the code. (seems to be a common error). Look for mods on the net. Auntetr
How do you turn on a key on to the acc position on a 1990 Toyota celica if the key broke off?
The key to my ignition broke off in the ignition. Luckily, I was able to insert the remainder of the key in the ignition and turn on my car. In order to fix the problem, I had to take my car to the dealer and I am pretty sure they removed it and installed a new ignition "key hole" keyed to my car. It is a 1990, and I believe the problem happened approx 1993?
Code 51 also refers to the throttle position sensor. You need to test the sensor - a factory repair manual will give the procedure and specs for testing.
Where is the fuel pump in a 1980 Celica?
I just looked at my manual for a 1981 and I know they're both mechanical fuel pumps. The picture shows the top of the engine on the intake side of the engine. It just looks like an inverted metal saucer with some rubber fuel lines going to it. It has a lever arm that must need to rub against a cam to create the pulsating motion necessary for the diaphragm to pump. If you trace fuel lines from your carburetor back, you'll have to get to it.

How do you replace a Headlight Assembly on a 2000 Toyota Celica GT?
Ok this one is quite bit of work to get the headlight out i got my headlights replaced with Halo LED's so for you to get them out you need to
pop the hood and there will be 2 bolts holding it one at the very top of the headlight and second will be holding it on the bottom inner side twords the engine the third bolt holds it from the side for that one you will need to remove your front bumper
there are 4 scews i belive that hold the hood in place under your hood then there are screws that hold plastic splash guards under your car on the bottom of the bumper remove those then you can get to the very tip of the bumper that is held near the fenders
Remove the bumper and there will be your 3rd bolts holding the headlights in place from the outter side of the headlight unplug the lights and replace with new or when done what needs to be done
to put together do all these stepps backwords.

What could cause your Toyota Celica to burn a lot of oil?
There are several possibilities. Worn valve guides are the most likely problem since you said you are burning a lot of oil. You could also have broken piston rings which would allow what is called "blow by." Both of thiese issues can be expensive to fix so it would be wise to spend a few dollars and have a mechanic diagnosie the problem. The worn valve guides would be the least expensive to fix but it does require pulling the head off the engine and taking it to a machine shop. This requires a new head gasket. Good luck.
How you recharge air conditioning freon gas on 91 celica?
I did the job on my 1990 GTS the other day. Ehh I bought this universal kit at Wallmart for 27$ and find that it doesn`t fit the low pressure line cup. (It is a metal pipe with a black dust cup, located on the very left top side under the hood) So I cut off the universal adapter and screwed a screw in to the rubber filling line and used this "universal" tool to fill it up.. I don`t recomend to do this but it works :)
Where is the thermostat located on a 1994 Toyota Celica gt?
The thermostat should be trapped into the joint of the coolant inlet fitting and the water pump body. This is the large hose fitting just beneath the alternator on 5S-FE engines, others should be similar. Please note that there is a tiny air bleed hole in the thermostat itself, this needs to be located in the 12:00 O'clock position, for air to bleed adequately for until the first thermostat opening. Hope you find this helpful.
What would cause an automatic 95 Celica to Jerk forward when placing it in Drive?
It's possible that the idle speed is set to high or low. When you shift into drive, power is applied from the motor through the transmission to the CV axles. If the idle is set too high there will be too much power applied to a "stopped" car. If the idle is set too low, then when the car is put into drive, the RPMs will drop and the car will apply more gas to keep the engine from stalling.
Start your car and watch your tachometer. It will normally start off high (between 1-2k RPMs) then it should lower within a minute. Note the idle RPM. It should be around 1k RPMs (+/- 300 RPMs). If it's outside of that range or if the needle moves a lot, then there's something wrong. You can find the factory spec idle speed online if you look.
I have a 1988 Toyota Celica and I had to replace the entire exhaust and it was approx $800.
Answeri have an 87 Toyota celica GT and i just took mine down to Marco muffler and they took out out ALL of the mufflers and replaced them with one glasspack (that i provided) and put 2 and a half inch pipe out the back. They wanted $80 and i talked them down to $50. Sounds pretty nice. Not like a rice rocket, but a lower growl. When the fuses, relays, dimmer switch, and the light switches have been changed, and the brake lights STILL fail to work means you "missed" something.
All lighting basics are simple:
When ALL components are good, the most common cause of failure of the brake lights to turn on is usually that the switch controlling the brake light circuit(s) IS NOT PROPERLY ADJUSTED.
How do you adjust valve clearance on 1 Toyota Celica?
They are on the inside of the hood. Mine was on the left hand side.
