well first is it turbo or non ? if non turbo take the air filter assembly off then you got to remove the air intake there are 4 bolts 2 on top 2 on bottom i think its a 12mm socket or 10 not for sure take that and the gasket off and unhook all the hoses attached to the intake and the throttle body connecting rod thing jus pops off then take a 3/4 ratchet with a extender and easily uncrew and take em out then for install just do everything backwards

supra stock wastegate is set at 6.5 lbs an easy way to overcome this is to shim the wastegate actuater 10mm further out from the turbo body this will cause the gate to require more pressure before opening doing this on my stock ct26 raised my boost from 6lbs to 11lbs and I hit fuel cut at 12lbs when I really slam the throttle.

I have a 94 Nissan sentra but it's the same body style. My starter is located right below all the air intake hoses. the easiest way to find the starter is to take the airbox stuff out and then follow the ground wire from the negative end of the battery (the only wire leading off the negative end) to where it attatches to the transmission. The bolt that that wire attatches to is one of two bolts that attatches the starter to the transmission.

First you must remove the upper portin of the fan shroud. Remove the belt, take a pully puller and pull the pully off the pump while it is still in place.undo the lines out of the steering sector(remember the high pressure line goes back in the hole closest to the engine block) Remove the three bolts behind the pulley, then remove the two nuts on the bracket behind the pump one is under the manifold and the other is on the bottom of the block. THen take the pump out remove lines and hardware and place on the new pump. WHen installing the new pump, put the pump back in place and the press the pully back on after you have put all the bolts back in the pump.

The second bolt is located on the top of the starter which has a tight sqeeze to get to. Most mechanic will drop the transmission or loosen the transmission to get to it. If it keeps burning out it may be a bad groumnd. ... going out but not burning out is poor connections, or damaged wiring. The headlights, and most other lights, kept going out in my 1993 Escort because of a dying alternator. Apparently, it was sending too much juice into the electrical system. If you're experiencing similar problems I would suggest checking the alternator just to be sure it's not the same problem. Since I replaced the bad alternator all bulbs are fine and are no longer needing to be replaced every couple weeks or so. I would suggest questioning the mechanic that removed your fog lights. Did they tape the cut wires or leave them exposed?
