Yuki then helps Zero to get out of it and Zero doesn't believe that she is a vampire unless she takes some of his blood. She proved it by doing so. Anyway, in the past he says he is able to stay alive along as she is beside him. But since she is a pureblood she refuses to and so he says he can stay alive they both kiss and agree to run away from each other. Zero vows that the next time he sees her, he will kill her and Yuki promises to keep running away from him, just so he has a reason to live.
