I have a 1998 v70 XC, AWD, when you hook the battery up and the blinkers start blinking and won't stop you put your key in the door lock and lock the door. Then you wait til the rear blinkers stop then open the door. the Blinkers should stop and you can start your car

In a ......? Have no idea if it's even possible or how much for a price. Because you have yet to give the car that it will be accomplished on. It's always pretty expensive regardless of the car. Going from and Automatic to a Manual will be very expensive unless you have a donor car for parts. Without a donor car for parts, I would not attempt this unless you have plenty of money.

All this work is done from under the car. There are two sensors on the S70. One is called the upstream( located higher up on the exhaust manifold) and the other would be the downstream. They are located on the exhaust pipe prior to the cat. converter. Unscrew the sensor (need to borrow a special tool) and follow the wire up around the engine to a small connector. there are controlls located on the right dide of the seat under the front that allows you to move back and fourth, there's a wheel adjuster on the right back side that andusts the back of the seat and under the front lefs adjusts the tilt
