It has a belt. Change every 5 years or 60k. Dont forget to change the pulleys also

Many persons have tried leaving the car on for at least an hour, then turn on the radio and it will reset itself. If that doesnt work, it is best you find a VW dealership and give them you VW serial number and they will find a code for you radio that will be able to make it work.

take off the alvero cylinder, unclip the silver clip remove the black plastic backing, with force then follow these steps, take unit out, either replace or clean before asoditing.

It is in the engine cover, which also contains the air filter.

It sounds like your Polo suffers from Stubborness, or it may be frozen shut, or maybe there is something stopping the door from opening such as a lamp-post, wheelie bin.

im pretty sure you meant to say serpentine belt. It is usually located in the engine bay somewhere. please remember the belt will need to have the tension taken off em before you can work on it. i

It is very easy to do. Open up the rear hatch and look for the opening throught the cloth line nearest the brake light. Once you open that are up then you will see two bolts with washer on them. Get a pair of plyers and take off the washers. Now on the outside pull the enitre brake light out, but becareful of the wires so don't pull too hard. On the back of the light is a black casing. Take flat nose screw driver and pry at the three points holding the casing to the brake light. Once off you will need to twist the light bulbs out and then twist new ones in. The two bulbs you need is 1156. Now reattache the black casing to the brake light clipping it back at all three points securly and reattach brake light to car. Now back inside the hatch fasten washers on tightly with plyers. You're done. Very easy and you saved a lot of money. I paid $3.50 for two bulbs recently at the part dept at the dealership and saw them at wal-mart for $2.78, but they were sold out.

You do not. Leave this to the experts. Serious injury can occur. Note: This will be safe IF AND ONLY IF you follow the manufacturer's instructions to disable the airbag (SRS) system. This is usually a matter of disconnecting the airbag circuit by pulling fuses, or even disconnecting the battery and then waiting a specified period. Sometimes new connections must be made. Don't proceed until you have obtained a copy of the instructions for your car.

Low oil level or faulty oil sending unit. Also a possible failing oil pump. Do not drive, repair immediately.

Ok so it took some time to work out. The rear manual window winder is held on by a horseshoe wire sir clip. Its between the handle arm and the plastic washer that sits on the door covering. I used a flat blade screwdrive to push it out. The closed end of the clip can be seen on the end of the arm when the handle is pointing to 6 o'clock and you push the driver between the arm and washer. you can't release the clip from this side.

Turn the arm to 12 o'clock and use the screw driver to push down on the clip open end. Its a bit of a fiddle but can be done. To refit the handle push the clip onto the arm. check the arm position from the other door. press it on. It goes back on very easily.
