Why does it take so long to see results from lifting weights?

You can get results in 1-2 weeks. That is, you can 'feel' some muscles growing, but dont expect to look noticably different. On the first day lift weights for about 30 mins, and make sure you lift weights that are 'reasonably heavy' but not to an extent that you are struggling after the 3rd lift (rep). Your muscles must hurt for a few days after this session, to the extent that when you extend your arm it hurts, and when you do a sit up it hurts. If they don't , you need to go back and lift heavier weights. Once you have completed this initial session, you need to increase your weights marginally each session. For toning your body you generally go for less weights but more reps. For big muscles you go for bigger weights but fewer reps. Also, make sure you rest your muscles for at least 48 hours otherwise you could actually go backwards! So on day one you might do biceps and abs, on day 2 you do chest and triceps. If you go to the gym 4 or 5 days a week, I promise you will notice some difference (or moreso 'feeling' ) in about 2 weeks. After 4 you will notice your biceps and chest musles will be bigger. After 6 bigger, etc etc. The more results you get, the more research you can do on better exercisies , diet, etc. Finally, its important to know how muscles develop: when you lift weights you are sort of 'damaging' or tearing your muscles. Your body needs to repair them, which it does in the 48 hour rest period, but actually makes the muscle slightly bigger 'just in case'. This is why you need to increase your weights marginally after each training session.

If you dance do you lose weight?

Yes! if you dance and sweat, yes! of course you can loose weight! but it has to be every day for 3 or 4 months, without failing any day.And if you dance and sweat and at the other day, and then you eat pizza with coke and ice cream, and candy your diet will slowdown or might not work at all.So you need to ask yourself, (Can I Do This). You first exercise and then dance for atleast two hours then drink ALOT! of water. Then 2 things you can't eat or drink at all during your diet, would be Sodas, pizza, NO! Ice Cream! and no cakes for 3 months. I did this! i used to weight 140 pounds now i weight 116 pounds. Good Luck! :)

Is there any way that you can tone up and not gain weight even if it is muscle weight?

There is no real way to not gain weight, but the best way is to do a lot of cario work, treadmill, bikes, aerobics, etc. And use light weights with high reps. Meaning use a 10 pound instead of a 20 and do 15 of each excersise instead of 10. This will be the best way not to gain weight. But if you are healthy, it doesn't matter what you weight. unless you are concerned about making a specific weight for wrestling, boxing ect, you should not concern yourself so much on the numbers, I would suggest throwing out the scale. You can go from 160 to 190 and look lighter and thinner at 190. as far as getting tone only you can work with weights, using low weight and high reps. for example..to build muscle mass you would want to life a weigt light enough you can lift it at least 8 times and no more than 12 times in a set. for toning you want something you can life 20 to 25 times in a set. this will give you more of a tone look. throw out the scale and use a mirror and measuring tape if needed.

Opportunity cost is divided in to further two cost:Implicit cost and explicit cost

Suppose there is a man who has two options to earn

1. To go abroad

2. To start a business of printing from the capital which he had in amount of 1.4million

Now if he refuses the option of not to go abroad but from economics point of view he also refuses the income which he earn if he goes abroad He tolerates this income indirectly. But if he choose 2nd option he has to pay for starting the business

Does adderall inhibit muscle growth in adults?

I am no medical proffesional…but:

Adderall is a stimulant, so it is also a vasoconstrictor. This means it constricts blood vessels. Reduced blood flow means less nutrients to the muscles which allows them to grow. If you put it in perspective, many bodybuilders take supplements to dilate their blood vessels allowing a greater "pump", or increased blood flow. Adderall does the opposite of this.

It has also been noted in adults that healing times of cuts and scrapes is lengthened when taking a therapeutic dosage. So yes… in THEORY adderall would inhibit muscle growth to some degree.

Can anyone get a really ripped physique or is it hereditary?

Getting a ripped physique is not heriditary. You can get a healthy ripped physique if you put in place a health work out plan and a diet plan and stick to the plan for atleast 3-6 months before you start seeing results. A ripped physique does not happen overnight or in a few weeks time. It happens over time with constant and dedicated effort.

-add on to answer

You can still get a ripped physique but it is partially hereditary how much of a substance (i forgot the name of) you have, which can control how much your muscles can grow. This doesn't mean you can't get ripped; I'm pretty sure everyone can. I'm just saying there is a limit to how much muscles can grow due to hereditary stuff, so some people can get very toned, but some, (body builders for example,) can go on to look almost like giants.
