Good question, but unfortunately, it is impossible to live forever. Even with the healthiest lifestyle possible, metabolic rate starts to drop as we age. Combined with a gradually weakened immune system, we can't expect to live for eternity. The closest we can hope to achieve is to be cryogenically frozen once we die. This means freezing our bodies. Enzymes are destroyed by high temperatures, but aren't destroyed by freezing, so theoretically, we could still be brought back to life years later. However, research into this is still in its infancy.
How is it possible to live forever?
I think that the way to live forever is to research and look at this question/problem/journey empirically and rationally. When you ask how can we not die, a good way to start is to ask how do we die in the first place? You can minimize some risk such as safe driving and healthy eating with regular medical checkups. There are some factors that seem out of our reach, such as time and age. "Our bodies just give out" "We die of Old Age" I think if you had a team of scientist ( Geriatrics, bioengineering, some other specialities) we could in fact figure a way continue life. The next trick would be to make it energy efficent. It has to cost less energy to keep living than it takes to keep the process of continually living. I've always wanted to discover immortality, much like man discovered space. For my next trick...time travel...might take me 10000 years to figure it out but...well, I got time. Round up everyone who wants to live forever and boom shaka laka nobody dies, ever.

Is it true that werewolves lived long time ago?
Realize all of the answers below are opinions and people pretending to be werewolves. Werewolves were told of in mythological tales long ago, but there was no evidence that werewolves exist. Werewolves are one of the biggest myths today, and only stories can tell us if werewolves exist.
We are still living today. However, most of us prefer to be called 'lycans', not werewolves, like myself. References to werewolves go back to the bronze-age. The concept of 'the animal within' is a philosophical point common to many cultures. Interesting to note: the further back you go the more alike vampires, werewolves, ghouls and zombies seem to get.
How can you reveal yourself to this human on the internet so freely? I still haven't made peace with myself to even think about revealing what I really am to others. Even though you can figure it out yourselves now, I want to know how old are you friend?
Some lycans like myself live for hundreds of years and I'm only in my lycan teens witch means I'm about 156 years old or something I can't remember.

Is it possible to be unconscious when transforming into a werewolf?
The shape shifting creature known as werewolf is considered to be an unproven myth. Nevertheless, there are some disorders that may cause the sufferer or an observer to mistakenly relate the behavior with that of a wild animal. That is possibly the origin of the werewolves folklore. Usually a person becomes detached from reality when experiencing an episode of such disorder.
Some people claim that werewolves are real but no definitive proof has been presented yet. In the event that such a shape shifting could occur (improbable due to anatomical limitations), the physical trauma and stress of such changes would certainly cause the person to faint.

How and why does silver harm werewolves?
This is probably only a myth, however, if this is true then the most logical answer would be that werewolves have an allergy to silver.
Silver is a well known antibiotic. Casanova took silver nitrate as a cure for venereal disease. The saying 'born with a silver spoon in your mouth' is derived from the habit of wealthy family being able to afford silver pacifiers for their infants - a proven deterrent for infection. So naturally it would be suspected as a cure for the werewolf condition.
