you obviously have a short somewhere. if you are an off roader then you probably have water somewhere. if not than go along some of you wires and look for any wires that are toching any metal. if they are that is where your short is comming from.

A file processing system is a collection of files and programs that access/modify these files. Typically,
new files and programs are added over time (by different programmers) as new information needs to be
stored and new ways to access information are needed.
Problems with file processing systems:
• data redundancy and inconsistency
• difficulty of accessing data
• problems with concurrent access

How do you stop windows installer from popping up?
The Windows Installer Service is trying to auto-repair an installed application. You can see what the service is actually trying to do by looking application event log (enter eventvwr in the Start Run box) for entries that have MsiInstaller in the Source column. Nine times out of ten, if the original installation .msi file can be found in the same location as it was installed from, the pop-up dialog will disappear of it's own accord after completing the repair and not be seen again.
One way of disabling the Installer is to use the DisableMSI (Type REG_DWORD) policy. This policy will disable the Windows Installer, thereby stopping resiliency. The policy is set through the registry key
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\Installer
If the value of this per-computer system policy is set to "2", the Windows Installer is always disabled for all applications.
If this policy value is set to "0" or any other number other than "1" or "2" or is absent, the Installer is always enabled.
If this policy value is set to "1", the Installer is disabled for nonmanaged applications but is enabled for managed applications. This setting does allow an application to be advertised to all users of a computer but does not allow an application to be advertised to the current user.
NOTE: While this policy is set to "2" you will not be able to perform an installation or use any function of the Windows Installer.
If the operating system has "booted" from your hard drive, you won't be able to format it. Boot from something else, perhaps the installation CD or some other bootable device then you should be able to format your disk.
Just so that you know, if you format your disk you will loose EVERYTHING, programs, pictures, music, documents... all gone after you format the disk!
but if you are with recent windows OS like vista.u may not see the hard disk partition to format or install anything.but still u have other choices like "solaris" or "linux" to consider
You can format all the harddisk except for the one with windows in it. By setting virtual memory to "no paging file" on the hard disk you wanted to format.
Doing that by open "hardware manager" under "Advance" tab, Performance, setting, Advance tab, then click "Change" Then has to restart.
Hope this help also don't forget to change it back after formating. It kinda amaze me that noone mention this technic before : )

First check the fuel filter to see if you have fuel in it. If no fuel present check the fuel pickup pump, it is on the inside frame rail under the driver side of the cab. If filter is full the pcm control module is the next item to check, it is down under the front of the intake right next to the fuel injector pump. this is best done by a shop because the pcm is 2 -300 bucks and is hard to remove. If you replace it get an extension wire kit for it because it is electronic and the place it is mounted is very hot. I lost 2 of them before moving it to the fenderwell. Chevy knows this but will not tell you.
And third is the fuel injector pump this is about 1500 bucks I will not even attempt this one

Windows is corrupted. Try holding down the control key, mine was doing that due to a pop up blocker.
