Right in the front, on top the engine,in the intake cam tower.

It is controlled by the computer and is not adjustable. If it is so slow that the engine wom't idle the idle control solonoid needs cleaning. It is attached tothe throtle body and clean it and where it mounts with carb cleaner. Also clean the inside of the throtle body where the throtle plate is as a carbon ring forms there.

a 2.0 1.8 and a 2.2 is 1-2-3-4 distributor is front left 1 clock wise 2-3-4 2.8 3.1 for 86 87 front right counter clock wise 1-2-3-4 for earlier models v6 is left front to back 1-3-5 right 2-4-6 dis is by screw left 1 clock wise 2-3 and so on

i have a 95 cavalier not sure if this will help. Take off the kick plate underneath your steering column that covers all the wiring. You will see a cylindrical object. It will be plugged in. It has two prongs like a regular appliance. There are lots of pics of them on the internet if you search, it will make your finding it a lot easier.

I have a 94 cavalier coupe. There are 2 flasher relays.

One is for the 4-way hazards and this is located to the right of the fuse box (the fuse box is located right above where you left foot would rest while driving).

The other flasher is for your turn signals and is a little harder to get to. Take off the panel that goes below your steering column and you will see an flasher relay located down and to the left of the steering column.

Both flasher relays look like a silver round "thing" with 3 prongs.

2.2L 1-3-4-2

the map sensor on a 2.2 cavalier motor is located directly on the top backside of the motor it is a rectangelar black box usually with a green wire connector it is connected to the upper intake manifold with 2-8mm bolts take out the bolts unclip the wire connector and unplug the map sensor, however on the 2.2 engines after 1997 the upper intake manifold is done away with, and the throttle body now attaches directly to the lower intake manifold(I just changed my int. man. gasket last week) and the MAP sensor is located toward the front of the manifold beneath the fuel rail

Depends on the door, but if it workd from the outside, but not the inside, the problem is likely in one of two places. Either the Inside actuator is broken, or the rod connecting the actuator to the latch has been bent or come off. There are small plastic retaining clips that hold the rod in place and these may have broken or popped off. Either way you will have to take the door panel off and see where the problem is.

This is pretty much trivial and up to you and how much work you want to put into it. obviously any of the other base model cavalier engines in the same "generation" interchange easily ie: 2.2l l4 ohc, 2.4l dohc, possibly an Ecotec engine if you have a newer generation Cavalier. the truth is every engine requires some bit of customization with harnessing and wiring and such as long as you can fit the engine in the compartment and on an appropriate transaxle, so whatever engine you want you'll have to build around it with that engine's electronics, specs, etc ...

IF you're asking where the coolant level sensor is located, it is located inside the coolant reservoir (that plastic tank on the passenger's side under the hood). The electrical connection is toward the front of the reservior on the engine side.

Check the fuse box.

When your car first starts up, it runs in "open loop mode" meaning it ignores all the engine sensor inputs and simply runs off a base map which is programed into your computer (ECM) at the factory. When your engine light comes on, it causes your engine to operate in a "limp mode" and revert back to open loop mode which is also the base map, so the car can make it to it's destination for service. Once the car warms up to operating temperature, it goes into a "closed loop" mode which means that it now accepts data from all the vehicle sensors (mainly the oxygen sensor and MAP- manifold air pressure or MAS- mass airflow sensor). It uses these sensors to determine the air/fuel ratios and timing advance/retard which is what gives the car optimal fuel economy, power and emission control. I would say that since your car runs fine until it warms up, that you have a bad sensor which is either the O2 sensor (oxygen sensor) or it's a MAP sensor/MAS sensor ( your car will have one or the other). Check your engine codes and see what they say, but It's definitely one of those sensors. It is a sensor but it is the TPS throttle positioning sensor I guarantee it go to your local parts store and but one they are easy to change.
