Hi my name is little_rere and Im homelees and yes I do sleep out in the park and you now what I now it sad but of we do not get now help we will in up go to another state and yes I now we should not do that but I have move to Minnesota and I have got help farst than st.louis help me I live in st.louis for 3year and I do not get no help and yes im 22year of age so that mean I was out tharefor 19year of age no I live in minnesote and im do go and have a 3bed room home

I know someone who is homeless because he fell on hard times, he still has a steady income and his ex wants to take him to court to get money he owed, she even has a contract that he signed but she is wondering if it will matter that he doesnt have a current address? Not always. Some homeless people have just had misfortune and are regular people, and others are dangerous. Being homeless doesn't mean you are dangerous, but that doesn't mean that you won't get attacked by a homeless person.

They lose their jobs. They become "downsized". Or they got a house (condo, apartment) that cost more money than they could afford. They might have invested in a house, thinking that the value of a house would Always go up, and it didn't. Most people probably become homeless because the economy turns bad and they suffer the consequences. They do the best they can, try and live within their means, and they suffer in a bad economic climate.
Homeless people can be kicked out of their apartment or house by not having the money to pay the bills; were kicked out due to a divorce, argument or other such conflict; or actually want to not have a home (for example, George Orwell spent a year dirt-poor on purpose).

According to the New Mexico Coalition to End Homelessness, at least about 17,000 people are homeless for at least part of the year, each year. The total population of New Mexico, as of 2012, was estimated to be 2. 086 million.

The obvious reason would be that they are people too, and not on the same level as the rats that might inhabit the neighboring boxes. The other reason would be that anyone could end up like that, if your stocks go horribly wrong (another stock market crash), or anything else that could land you in a back alley tommorrow. If you believe the Bible, which I do, Jesus told His followers that how you treat the poor is how you really think of and treat Christ Himself, as how you treat the homeless is a true reflection of who you are, not just who you think you are, or who you appear to be to other people. Homeless people are people just like you and me and the fact of the matter is they may have had lives at one time as others but ended up where they are through a variety of very unfortunate circumstances. I realize that some are on the streets due to rebellion and lack of respect for authority and/or have addiction problems but that does not mean they were not ever a respected part of society at one time.

Being around the homeless makes many people very uncomfortable in the same way that a person with Down Syndrom or cerebal palsy. People see the homeless as dirty degenerates. It's very hard to be clean with no place to live or get a haircut for lack of money. The sad truth is that any one of us could be in the same situation.

I assume we are talking about industrialized nations here. No expert on this field, but I would assume the number one cause would be running away from home. I would also assume this is the number one cause of teenager prostitution also.

Second would probably be parents that could not or would not provide enough support to maintain a home. Which goes back to social interaction deficits that the parents have, for whatever reason (ie Drugs, mental capacity , willingness to work, inability to adapt to changing environment)

In the winter, you can find them on top of sewer grates in the morning. They enjoy the warmth that comes from all the water that we use and put into our drains.

In the summer they can be anywhere! Watch out! Keep your doors locked!
