How do you get your Mexican spouse legal when he crossed the Mexican border illegally?
I have been married for 10 years and then we went through the process, all we had to do was complete a I 385 form to request permission for him to be here. They were all aware that he entered illegally. I also did not have a lawyer. Anyways, the I385 form was sent to Nebraska and approved, but that wasn't the end yet, they sent his information to the American Consulate in Ciudad Juarez Mexico and we had to wait for an appointment with them to apply for his Green Card. We received a letter stating that he had an appointment on whatever date and that the appointment was at the Consulate in Mexico. We assumed that once we got there, we would get the Green Card the same day, but it did not work that way. We stood there for hours in a line and once we got to the counter, they told us that my husband would have to stay in Mexico for 12-15 months until his Green Card application was processed. And that is what happened, on the anniversary of the 15 months I received a letter stating that he had an appointment to go review the Green Card application, so he went and received his Green Card the same day and came back home. Once he got home, he was able to apply for a SSN and has been straight ever since.
What a disgraceful answer! This person has probably paid into the UK system so why should they not be entitled to a little help if they want to come home? You have no idea what their circumstances are. Unfortunately I don't know the answer but hopefully someone with a little more compassion that the previous poster will be able to provide one.
lets hope not

What is the advantage and disadvantage in living in Ireland?
The great disadvantages of living in Ireland are the following:
- People lie, steal and rob you of every penny you have. Whenever you make a deal, sign a contract, etc, make sure to doublecheck all those things you never expect to have to doublecheck in any civilized country, and make sure to put it on paper - or you will get screwed.
- It is a very expensive country to live in. You pay for everything - even if what you pay for is of highly mediocre standards by international comparison (although the Irish themselves think what they provide is absolutely superb!).
- It is an extraordinarily backwards country in terms of gender equity, gender and sexual discrimination, animal rights, child abuse, and so on and so forth. Whereas the rest of the world today reads 2011, Ireland fluctuates between 1950-1970.
- Nobody takes responsibility for things that go wrong. There is always (whatever level or sector in society concerned) an excuse for not having to do things properly or take responsibility.
- Banking and business system is utterly rigid, complex and out-dated. And, due to the inherent dishonesty of the Irish people (see above), every larger issue is highly solicitor-based (for fear of getting screwed in the deal, and fear of getting sued when screwing the other person). This adds time, money and frustration.
- Internet is essentially non-existent (in comparison to rest of West). Try to find the opening hours of the store you plan to go to, seek information about street address, etc etc...
- Roads are of appallingly poor quality, as are public transport.
- People do not know how to use a bicycle. Nor do they know how to drive and how to park a car.
- The importance of nature as recreational areas for the population is not understood. Nor such trivia as 'throw waste in the bin'.
- The political system is grossly oversized, overpaid, and incompetent.
- People in general see nothing wrong with the massive luxury consumption of the Celtic Tiger era, a behaviour that goes on to this very day although the money ran out many a good year ago.
- and last but not least: Ireland is bancrupt, and noone seems to get it.
Advantages:
- If your child is ill, you will ususally get a rapid appointment to your medical clinic, and medical assistance [if you pay for it].
- There is a high focus on learning in primary schools.
- If you are a woman, and desperately look for a bald, bear-bellied macho "alpha-male" who likes to watch football with his mates at the pub wearing jogging pants and a soggy sports-Tshirt, you'll be in match-making heaven!
The first two of these items will probably decline drastically with the current and future cuts in public sector system. The third item is instead likely to rise.
In summary: Visiting Ireland as a tourist over a long weekend can be quite charming; beyond that, stay away.

Can you visit London with Dublin visa?
Usually a separate visa is required to enter England than to enter Ireland, so depending on your own circumstances, if you need a visa to enter Ireland then you will also need another one to enter England. There are proposals from the Irish government to let people who have visas for Britain to enter Ireland without having to get another one for Ireland. As of the time of answering this question (June 2011) this has not been put into place. Even when it does, they doesn't mean that a visa to Ireland will be acceptable to England.

How do you know if your case was dismiss with prejudice?
To "retry" a case that has been dismissed with prejudice you would have to take an appeal of the action since it has already been tried and the dismissal is not a procedural dismissal.
Aside from a direct appeal, a party can ask the trial court to reconsider its decision, reverse its own order and reinstate the action.
A party can make a motion for a new trial.
A party can make a motion to be relieved from its effects for the various reasons set forth in the court rules as may apply. Common reasons for being relieved of an effect of an order are that the order was entered as a result of mistake, inadvertence, surprise, excusable neglect, fraud or any other reason that the interests of justice would require the order be set aside.

How much am I supposed to have in my account for a Canadian Visa?
The amount you need in your account for a Canadian visa depends on the type of visa you are applying for. For example, if you're applying for a visitor visa, you should demonstrate sufficient funds to cover your stay, typically around CAD 1,000 to CAD 1,500 per month, plus the cost of your accommodation. For study permits or work permits, the required amount may vary, so it's essential to check the specific requirements for your visa category on the official Government of Canada website. Always ensure you have access to additional funds to support your application.
