If caught with it you will be arrested and faced with charges relative to the possession of illegal drugs. Law enforcement there carry out raids and several operations to destroy 'weed farms' and points of sale. Jamaica is no different from the US when it comes to drug preventative measures, its actually a civilized society. (And contrary to what many think, Rastafarians are not hardly the majority in Jamaica, the normal citizens of Jamaica are law abiding, working class people.)Drugs are ILLEGAL there, but like everywhere else in the world, people disobey the law and so there are the outlaws who do abuse drugs, most commonly cannabis.
