This is the proper way to deal with it, but if your manager is not a good manager then he will get upset no matter what you do.
Your manager probably would agree that customer service comes first. If handling the customer will only take two minutes, then do that and when you see the manager, say "I apologize for being late but I was dealing with a customer."
If it will take a long time with the customer, you can 1) Send word to the manager that you are with a customer issue and will be there as soon as done, or 2) spend a minute finding someone else to handle the customer - "I'm being called to the managers' office - could you please handle this customer issue? Thank you."
If you manager does not like what you do, ask him "OK - so I'm hearing that next time you would prefer I say to the customer "I'm sorry, I have to leave." ?
If he does not suggest a solution, then he is not a good manager and you are on your own.
Because the companies cant pay some of the workers.
Another opinion:Unemployment happens when;1) Employees are discharged or fired for cause; 2) Employees quit for various reasons, both work related and personal; 3) A slow down in the company's business forces a 'downsizing' due to the economy and not the employee/employer's fault; 4) Companies themselves relocate and the employee is unable to follow the job; 5) Natural disasters occur that close a business down (hurricanes, floods, earthquakes, etc.); 6) Government actions cause a company to lay off people (fines, taxes, levies, law suits, etc. that disrupt the business' plans); etc. What are three characteristics of a healthy root system?

How can i become a famous wedding planner?
To answer your question. First of all not all wedding planners become famous. The best way to get started in Begin a wedding planner is to take a class on wedding planning and the one that I suggest is The International School of Hospitality which is a 3 month course in Las Vegas, NV . The class is hands on and they set you up with internships and help you with job placement and then you get certified . Now you can take their course on line but you don't get the hands on experience and internship but you get certified .
There are many on on line classes that you can take but do your research on what each class offers & price which is 400.00 & up. Hands learning is the best which I haven't found many you take in a class room that are not a 1or 2 day seminars.
Another way to get some experience in wedding planning is to work in any wedding related business like a flowers shop, bridal boutique, photographer, etc. Now some vendors may ask for some experience. But always remember that by being certified and having some internship hours make you look more experience to a wedding couple.
Remember these things and you will be on your way
1. get knowledge by reading book & magazine , taking classes , watching wedding shows, & intership.
2. work in a wedding field such as flower shop or wedding boutique. But know that the floral industry is hurting now do to the economy.
3. know that butting in your time in the wedding industry and doing a lot of weddings.
So by doing these thing I fell you are well on your way to a blooming caree as a wedding planner.

Is a police officer a mental job or physical or both?
I'd consider a police officer's job to be both mental and physical. Physically you might have to have good speed, endurance, etc. when you're chasing a fleeing suspect or taking down someone uncooperative, and it can be mentally taxing what with late hours, dead-end cases, some of the more gruesome things police officers are assigned to oversee etc.

Why are some bosses difficult to deal with?
The bosses I've had that were difficult usually had one of two conditions to deal with that made them difficult. One was that they had reached a level of responsibility that was just beyond their capability to perform and they were worried that they would be found out. The second was when the boss felt they hadn't been recognized with the higher level of responsibility they deserved and they were bitter.
