There are two fuse boxes on this vehicle.

The Passenger compartment fuse box is located at the lower right kick panel on the passenger side near the floor board. (Basically right where the passengers right foot would res ton the floor.)

The Engine Compartment fuse box or Central Junction Box is located near the right fender. ( Facing the vehicle it would be a black box with a snap lid on the left hand side of the engine.)

The battery fuse for the radio in the Catera is located in the fuse box underneath the steering wheel. There is a cover you have to remove and a guide to the fuses is imprinted on the inside of the cover, which will tell you which one is the correct fuse.

First, you'll need a radio. If there isn't a hole in the dash the right size for the radio you'll need to cut one or mount it underneath the dash or in the glovebox. There is a spare fuse location in the standard fuse box (furthest to the right on the Australian model, if I remember right) which is provided by the factory for an optional radio. Wire power to that, earth to any metal part of the body behind the dash. Depending on the radio, you'll probably need both a switched and unswitched power input, check different fuses with a multimeter and turn the key on and off to find what you need. If you don't understand so far, pay a professional to do it.

If you don't have any speakers yet, there are holes in the metal behind the door trims for a shallow round speaker of about 5" diameter, and you can cut holes in the door trims and stick them in there. Most modern speakers are too deep and you'll need to buy or build some spacers or door pods for the speakers, or put them somewhere else, like in a wooden parcel shelf behind the back seat. There would be room behind the back seat for plenty of audio gear, and the rear side panels might be an option as well.

I've seen speakers in front kick panels and underneath the dash as well but don't like them in that location. Of course, there's always the standard position of a single speaker behind the dash next to the speedometer!

To do talk shows on radio and broadcasting i think journalism is the main part of it.

There are no minimum educational requirements to host a talk show. You need to have the appropriate vocabulary and language skills for your listening audience and you need to have the knowledge to speak intelligently to your audience and be able to handle whatever is thrown at you. Whether the topic is politics, law, medicine, construction, science or anything else, you do need to have the educational knowledge, street smarts, and work experience, if not the credentials, for the topic the show is covering or you will lose your audience and your job.

On my 1993 MPV it is like this.

Remove the ash tray. Remove the 2 screws holding the plastic frame, now visible on the bottom of the ash tray holder. Unsnap the frame from the bottom. Unscrew the cigarette lighter bulb holder and unplug the cigarette lighter connector to get them out of the way. There are 5 screws. 1 in each corner and one in the bottom center. Unscrew them and pull the radio out just far enough to see the plastic molex connectors. There are 2 plug connectors and the antenna wire connector. Unplug them and plug into new radio. Put it back together.

questions about effectiveness of media are influenced by too many factors to count. to begin with, WHAT you say is usually more important than WHERE you say it. a billboard that says, "FREE FOOD THIS EXIT," will out-perform a vaguely worded radio commercial about how nice your restaurant is.

also, your budget plays a key role in the equation: do you have enough money to make a significant impact on whatever audience is in question?

radio and billboards are often used in combination because they reach consumers who are AWAY FROM HOME: they are closer in time to when they will make their next purchase. today's families also suffer from TIME STARVATION, which means media that reach them, "on the go," are increasingly attractive.

radio has substantial strengths when we compare the two. it uses the sound of the human voice. this is infinitely more compelling that any printed word. the :60-second commercial is still the standard unit in radio, and it allows advertisers to explain servicesin substantial detail. radio is often called a, "frequency medium," because it lets you reach your customers with a large amount of repetition in a short period of time.

outdooradvertising is strongest when used to convey a short message, especially one tied to a specific location. new technology has enabled outdoor advertisers to use color photography, even movement, to make their messages more noticeable. and of course, outdoor is a way to reinforce messages made on radio or TV.

so, there's no easy answer to this one. examine the issues above and perhaps they will point you in the right direction.
