Was there just one apple tree in the garden of Eden?

first of all the forbidden fruit has not been proven to even be an apple

Who arrived on earth first Adam and Eve or the ape or the dinosaur?

>>genesis 1:24 explains God created all living creatures (this included dinosaurs and apes)

>>genesis 1:26 explains God made man.

AnswerThe idea that man walked the earth before (or even with) the dinosaurs is not borne out by any physical evidence whatsoever. None. Quite the contrary. This does not say anything about creation, but only about the order of the arrival of living things on earth. A huge number of living creatures arose, populated the earth, and then died off completely before man appeared - including the dinosaurs. AnswerAs far as the Biblical record goes it says that the apes and dinosaurs were created before man, on day 6. Man of course being the pinnacle of creation.

Evolutionists interpret the fossil record to relate to the history of the planet in terms of the dogma of uniformitarianism. The problem is that many fossils do not fit into the scheme such as polystrate fossils and there are also many gaps in the fossil record compared to what evolution would predict. This is acknowledged by evolutionists themselves.

Creationists interpret the fossil record to relate not so much to the evolution of life on earth but to the order of burial in the flood and other related events. Thus, 'simpler', less mobile forms of life are buried lower generally than forms of life which are mobile and able to escape to higher ground. In addition to this we find large fossil graveyards where huge numbers of specimens are buried catastrophically.

Considering the immense numbers of humans and 'sub-humans' who would have walked the earth if evolution were true, it is indeed surprising to know how little actual evidence exists for human evolution and how few specimens there are. The catastrophic flood of Noah's day was designed as a terrible judgment on the wicked world of that day. It is not surprising under this paradigm that there are so few specimens of the genus homo from that pre-flood world, if any at all.

Evolutionists are keen to point out the incompleteness of the fossil record, or even to say there are not enough paleontologists when confronted by the gaps in their theory. As far as the creation side goes it could simply be said 'absence of evidence is not evidence of absence.' The problem for evolution is that there is plenty of evidence, the wrong kind of evidence.

What evidence in Genesis shows that the tree from which Eve eats an apple is a cultural world tree?

The tree from which Adam and Eve ate the forbidden fruit was one of only two trees that differed in all respects from the ordinary trees of the world.

To eat of the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil, as Adam and Eve did, meant becoming like gods, as God later says (Genesis 3:22: "And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us..."), except that they were still mortal.

The Tree of Life conferred immortality. Because Adam and Eve had eaten of the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil, they now knew the evil that they must one day die. They also knew that by eating of the Tree of Life they could become immortal. God had no choice but to banish them from the Garden of Eden and place at the entrance of the Garden, cherubim and a flaming sword to keep [block] the way of the Tree of Life.

The Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil, and the Tree of Life were common motifs in ancient Near Eastern and Greek cultures.

If God created the heavens and the earth then why are people different colours and speak different languages If Adam and Eve were white then where did coloured people come from?

First question being: who said they were white? geographically speaking "white" people are native to the continent of Europe....so named AFTER the creation of Adam and Eve. Second point: If Adam and Eve were cast out from Heaven, then sent to live on earth, which part of the earth would that be? from all accounts we have, it seems like life for humankind as we know it on earth began somewhere in the Middle East. Features and Characteristics of these people (native to the Middle Eastern countries) ARE NOT "WHITE". lastly, nothing is impossible when you speak of what the creator can create. I dont like what your question implies....outside of your thinking...the world did not begin with 'white' people and most assuredly won't end with them either.

It seems common sense to me that if life began with two people (of any nationality, if that even existed in the beginning), then thru what we know as incest (relations between siblings) had to have taken place. Common sense may also tell us that as the population grew, folks began to migrate to other parts of the world expanding and transitioning culture, language, human characteristics based on region of inhabitation (out of necessity to exist). and so on and so on up until the current time period. "coloured" people came from the same place as 'white' people! The question should have been, since in terms of numbers there are many more people of colour on earth than those with paler skin tones and the regions where the original man inhabited was a warmer climate (thus darker skin and wider noses would be natural), "Where did White people come from"?

The Bible doesn't say.

Tradition claims that Ethiopia was part of Sheba (home of the Sabeans), but Biblical Ethiopia was primarily found in present-day Sudan, whereas some scholars feel that Sheba was located in southwest Arabia, most likely in modern-day eastern Yemen.

Why does a shepherd break the sheep's legs?

He doesn't. It's a myth.

"There is a commonly-held belief that shepherds in Bible times would break the legs of lambs that constantly wandered away. According to the "story," the shepherd would then set the broken leg and carry the lamb on his shoulders until the leg healed, after which time the lamb would remain by the shepherd's side for the rest of its life. There is no such story in the Bible. To do so would be cruel and impractical."

The earliest record of it I could find [and seemingly the origin] was in the 1955 book "What Jesus Said" , written by Robert Boyd Munger. The illustration was popularized in 1979 when Paul Lee Tan included it in his book for pastors Encyclopedia of 7700 Illustrations.

Who was before Adam and Eve?

The Old Testament mentions no earth dwellers before Adam and Eve. The book of Genesis just says that God decided to create human beings, on the sixth day of the world's creation. Humans were to look like their divine creator [1:26]. They were to exist as females and males [1:27], to get the human race started, thorughout the world and for all earthly time [1:28]. Genesis then backtracks to telling the specific story of Adam, as the first man [2:7-8]; and of Eve, as the first woman [2:21-22].

Is a garden which lies at a high altitude called a garden in the sky?

Garden located on a high altitude is called either way you call it. Although it's high on top, the truth of the matter is, it's still an ordinary garden the same as the garden in the lowland. However, to garden at high elevation, you've got to search what plants grows at high altitude. Higher elevation is a little cooler compared to the lower elevation. So, you've to select plants that thrives best at higher elevation. There are aplenty of plant species that grows well at high altitude. Hope I've answered the question. Crisologo L. What were Adam's and Eve's surnames?

Adam and Eve had no surnames. The couple were introduced by their first names only. The book of Genesis gave no last names for either Adam or Eve. There in fact may have been no need for last names since Adam and Eve were the only human inhabitants of their garden.

What is Dr Charles Stanley view on the theory of Adam not being the first human created that there was a race before him?

A:I am unfamiliar with any theory of a race created before Adam and Eve. Dr Charles Stanley of the Southern Baptist Church holds a traditionalist view that Adam and Eve were the first human family.

Science and history jointly offer a third position. They say that humans evolved long before the time attributed to Adam and Eve. The first humans did not live 'before' Adam and Eve, because Adam and Eve never really existed.

What if Adam and Eve didn't hide and came straight to God when they sinned?

Answer

Then it wouldn't have been a sin, now would it?

I think it couldn't have happened, God planned everything, from the creation of the heavens and the earth, to all his followers living with him in Heaven. Genesis to Revelation. But if that happened, God would be wrong, which can't be because he is God.
