Ideograms are symbols that represent entire words or concepts, but don't give a clue as to how the word is pronounced. An example of an ideogram is & (which is pronounced AND in English and Y in Spanish, but has the same meaning in both languages).

Cuneiforms are highly stylized ideograms, using a tool that creates little, wedge-like strokes. Some cuneiforms (in the later history of languages that use them) are phonetic.

Phonetic alphabets only have symbols that represent sounds, not words.

First, cunieform was created. It was made in an area in the middle east (Mesopotamia) which is now in Iraq. Then new languages developed like Phoenic and the Greek alphabet. Now, we have the Engllish alphabet!

A for A, B for B, C for C, and so on and so forth

It is the first alphabet, adopted and adapted by the Greeks and Romans, and is the basis of our alphabet today. It took hold because it gave an accurate and economical alternative to the cumbersome pictograms and syllabic writings which it replaced.

Though the appearance of similar sandwiches world wide does cause debate, the taco comes from Mexico but actually predates the country. Mind you, the word DOES NOT, and conflicting stories exist as to when tacos began being referred to as tacos. One source claims it was in the 1900s, another claims the Conquistadors used the word in reference to early fish tacos eaten by natives of the Valley of Mexico.

In short however, tacos originated in Mexico.

The Latin alphabet used with the English and several other romance languages has 26 letters. Variations of the Latin alphabet as used by the Spanish, Polish, Swedish, and Turkish languages, and others, have a different number of letters.

The oldest writings are found in the pre-historic civilizations of Egypt, Mepotimia, Harappan Civilization in South Asia , China and many other ancient civilizations in EU and Amerca. The Greeks and Romans contributed much in writng systems. Being researcher on secret writing ,codes and ciphers and offered 1st sucessful cryptanalysis model on matured Harappan scripts, I would say that secret writing and use of codes in love is as old as the writngs of ancient civilizaations.
