I like to get on a dark road and adjust them with the screws on top and sides of the lights but don't blind the driver comming at you.

Make sure it really is low on coolant by checking the coolant when engine is off. If the level is up to par, then the sensor may be bad.

I have a 1999 Buick Regal GS and the cabin air filter is located under the hood on the passenger side on top of the firewall near the windshield wiper. The cover has screws holding it down.

There is an automatic tensioner that provides the correct belt tension after the belt is reinstalled.If the belt is loose for some reason,check the routing diagram under the hood and verify the pulleys are all in place and tight.I'll watch this question if you need more help.

Well, I am definitely not a mechanic but I can share my experience in hopes it may help. My 1996 Chevy Cavalier engine would stall frequently but then re-start after a minute or 2, only to stall again a few min later. The mechanics put it on the diagnostic machine to no avail. They then began replacing parts, wires & everything they could think of that would cause this problem without success. I replaced the gas cap & haven't had a stall since. The car runs like a charm. I don't know if thiswill help but my advice, for any auto problem, is to start looking for the small things. Hi .. I own a 91 buick regal custom and I bought it from my father in law for $1 because of the same problem ... he rebuilt the top half of the engine tring to fix the problem ...when I first started it .. i knew .... you have to keep your foot on the gas and the brake to keep it running at a light .... its the Cat ... cut about one inch into your exsust pipe between the cat and the engine ...and she will never stall ..... its gonna be loud but .. if you have $60 you can put a new one on ....... the cats in buicks overheat and jam up or somthin... but it puts to much back presure on the engine and without having the gas pressed it won't hold idle .... so cut it and yes let it run VERY low on fuel and unscrew the gas cap .. if it doesnt make a presure sound like breathing in .... it needs a new cap too ... I have a 1989 Buick Regal and have a similar problem. When the car gets hot it has a rough idle and stalls mostly when in drive and stopped. If i put it in neutral won't stall but idles rough. I have replaced cat, several fuel injectors, fuel pump, fuel filter, plugs and wires and many other things in past being that it has 172000 miles. I still have the problem.

Depending on your area, you can go to your local AutoZone, and they can sometimes reset your light. But in some areas, laws wont allow them too. My local AutoZone is like this, but if you hold their little code scanner, and ask them which buttons to press to reset it, its you that reset it and not them. Some will do this, but not all.

This stalling could be the security system besides all the other obvious possibilities like fuel pump,etc. The car will turn over but not start if the security system does not properly recognize the "security chip" in the key. Try spraying electrical cleaner in the keyhole and on the key. Be liberal with it it is non-conductive and cannot hurt electrical parts. Dan

I had the same problem with mine. My regal had been sitting for almost a year. It was the fuel pump. And from what I hear it's very common to lose the fuel pump on these cars if they sit for any length of time. If you do it yourself go ahead and get the manual - it's worth it(and it's about $20). If you're not very experienced with car repair - I wasn't - plan on about 4-5 hours (taking it slow).

You'll know it's the fuel pump if you don't hear the pump whine as it pressures up when you turn the key to the on position.
