Buick Skylark

On my 96 Century and 68 Eldo they mercifully put the fan, case, and motor under the hood, on the firewall, on the passenger side. It comes apart with probably a 1/4" socket or nut driver. I'd guess it's the same on your car.

I have a 93 buick skylark and i cant find the thermostat on the da*n thing.. can anyone explain to me on how to change it??? Follow the hose to the top of the engine where it ends. The thermostat is under the thing where the hose is attached. There are two bolts holding it down.

Also, get a Chilton's or Haynes manual from Amazon. They have the procedure and the books are cheap.

You might just have to replace the flasher. Check the fuses and the bulb's contacts too. How that tan-colored garbage gets in there, I'll never know.

Try finding a Chilton's or Haynes manual on Amazon or eBay. They're dirt cheap now.

You could actually unplug and re-insert all the BIG fuses in the fuse block found under the hood by the battery. These BIG fuses are the easiest to get at. Also on the side of the fuse block is a chart that tells you what belongs to what. This should re-set theft device. BE CERTAIN TO UNHOOK BATTERY BEFORE UNPLUGGING ANY FUSES FOR SAFETY. You can put a 15" or a 16". You can check with a GM dealer's service center about tire sizes, but the Gran Sport has 16" wheels.

That depends if it's a Gran Sport model or not. The Gran Sport had 16" tires. Check with any tire store to find out for certain.

It should be right there on the fuse box. If you still can't find it, try calling a service center at a GM dealer.

Heater core is Bad Sounds like your heater core is the problem. you can bypass the heater core for the summer and be okay if you do not want to spend the money (or need the heater) till winter. There is an inlet and outlet hose for the heater core in the engine compartment on the passanger side. Go to your local auto parts store an purchase the correct size hose splice and simply connect the two hoses together. This will allow coolant to circlute through everything except the heater core.

It might be a cooling problem such as the thermostat. I think you should get the cooling system checked. Something is causing it to overheat.
