Remove the plastic cover inside the trunk that surrounds the motor. There should be a connect at the bottom of the motor on the right side. Disconnect it there.

You must first remove the power steering pump pulley to get access to the bolts on the pump.

only the 1993 had it

Start the car..it will go dead. LEAVE the key on, until the theft system light on the dash stops flashing( 10 mins.) and just stays lit.Turn the key off.You are good to go.

Its called a Mas air flow sensor and its located in your air induction that runs to your throttle body a wire should be located on your black hosing hose

As far as locating it...

You don't, you won't, and if you happen to barely tug on it you will engage the signal.

There are over 82 places they will hide it. It's very small and can easily fit in the tailpipe. Also, be prepared to slice metal to get to it if it's outside. It can be inside or outside of the car. Basically, if you were trying to get to it you'd look more than suspicious.

The 194 degree you get when you drive is a little below the medium where it should be and that's ok (no worries). But I'm sure it goes higher than that on different road conditions. When it reaches 222 the fans start going faster considered on high to cool down the engine or keep it constantly at 220-225 degrees as you drive. Now that is considered at medium where is normal. Now, when your temperature goes higher than 230-235 degrees that's a sign there's something wrong and it will slowly go to 245 degrees and then afterwords reach 260 and even go higher until it warns you to check coolant level, stop engine, idle engine and more, etc. .In a normal world ppl would pullover and realize it will break the engine, even kill it completely from overheating and not responding in time nor thinking about the consequences that will appear later.

194----just below medium (normal)

218-222-----normal

235-----sign it's starting to overheat (you should check coolant level at that point)

245----the engines is overheating (you should really pullover at this point)

260----engine overheated (pullover immediately, you could cause the engine damage)

260+ take it to the shop

It is said that the northstar engine will not be damaged when overheated and will let you safely drive about 50 miles to get to your destination safely.

I do not recommend anyone driving with any engine that is overheated more than 0 miles as it will cause big damage to the engines head gasket, sensors, and other electrical small devices that can't support high heat.

Raise the seat bottom of the rear driver side seat to access the rear seat fuse box. There will be a small tab sticking out of the seat bottom just as the seat back contacts the seat bottom. Pull up on this tab and the seat bottom will raise and tilt forward. Lift up on the black plastic cover while pushing in on the retaining tabs and remove the cover. Then there will be another black plastic cover with a few holes in it, pull up on this cover and the fuses will be visible.

A 1994 Cadillac Deville that has an engine surging problem and is stalling out can indicate it is not getting enough fuel. The fuel filter may be clogged.

I had taken my car to circuit city to have speakers put in my 1990 Cad deville. They said they had to pull the dash off to put the speakers in the car. Sorry not more info.

There are several things that can cause your Cadillac Deville to have transmission problems. The most common transmission problems are worn transmission gears.

Defective Blower Motor Resistor Pack.

Try disconnecting the positive battery terminal. Then short the positive CABLE to the frame overnight. This discharges the computer battery. Then reconnect to battery and drive normally. DO NOT SHORT OUT THE BATTERY.

I believe it is Seville touring sedan.

The turn signal is under the dash on the drivers side. It is just to the left of the steering column and plugs in.

It's inside the gas tank!
