Look up a Cadillac maintenance book. Check location of ALDL terminal socket, make a jumper wire, jumper the listed terminals. Attach your timing light, and start your engine. You will be able to see, the markings on the crank shaft pulley, against the marks on the engine. Check your timing that is listed under the hood. You can adjust the timing by loosening the lock nut under the distributor special wrench needed. ALDL assembly line diagnostic link, usually located under dash. You can also check timing with a code reader with live data reading.

If you want to keep it.

Its a pain. Basically, with car cold, drain system.

Remove battery.

Remove shroud.

Unbolt fans and let them hang lose.

Remove hoses.

Pull out old radiator.

Put new radiator in.

Reconnect hoses.(you may have trouble if there's a converter piece on an inlet)

Rebolt fans.

Replace shroud.

Connect overflow bottle.

Replace battery.

Refill coolant and top off leaked fluids.

Remove the plug at the bottom or the rear of the radiator or remove the lower radiator hose

Next to the oil pan. I recommend using an oil filter socket wrench attachment to remove the filter. A regular filter wrench will not fit and its difficult to loosen by hand.

Under the hood, not far from the R/S hood hinge it's called a blower module

To put ac refridg in a 1995 Cadillac sedan simply open the hood, find the right valve and insert it.

There are 4-6 plastic pins about the diameter of a quarter. Unscrew each of them counterclockwise & remove panel. Pull back carpet a bit & using a 10mm socket unscrew the top and bottom bolts. Next, push in the tab on the wire harness & gently pull apart to disconnect the wires. Carefully push the wires & connector through the opening & there's your taillight. Replace the same way in opposite sequence. Only remember to tighten 10mm bolts to tail light a bit at time as opposed to tightening one all the way then the other. And that's it. Good luck

orilleys auto parts has eveything you need, except for the water pump drive pulley the big plastic one that melts at the nearest sign of an issue I have only been able to locate those new from dealerships, used on e-bay, and in junkyards used they average about 35 bucks new average is about 50 bucks for the drive pulley

I've seen something like this before. It may be bound up. try turning the steering wheel while you turn the key. If the wheels are turned toward the curb, turn it farther toward the curb. Sometimes it binds up if it's got tension on it. It's worth a shot and doesn't cost a dime.

Check or replace the IAC (Idle air control) This is the problem 95% of the time especially in well maintained cars

if the motor ruuns position someone inside the car to turn the radio on, and with someone outside by the antenna grab the tip of the mast and pull up while the motor is running. Straighten any bends , lubricate with silicone and retry

you have a short to ground . have it check soon ! could be a door switch .

First the spark plugs may need replaced. The second thing could be the vacuum hose has come off or is loose.

I have a 91 DeVille, and it is located on the firewall just under / behind the Maxi fuse & relay assembly. Mine has 2 connectors to it, a 2 prong connector with 1 red wire, and a 4 prong connector with a black, a purple, and a purple and white wire. The assembly is held in with 3 small screws. You may need to move the fuse assembly out of the way by taking off the 2 10 mm nuts holding it to the firewall. I think the 92 DeVille is similar to the 91.

As far as I've been able to find there are 2 fuse blocks. The first is under the dash on the drivers side. There is a second fuse/relay block on the far right passengers side under the dash. It is up above the vanity panel so I think that will have to be removed for access. This block also holds relays for various vehicle systems.

there is no fuel reset as in a ford.

To change the bulbs all you have to do is put a flat blade screw driver on the right side of the bulb housing and gently push to the left. This will release the catch holding it in and it will drop out and down on the end of its wiring connector. 1/4 turn the bulb and remove. Replace the bulb and just put the housing back into the opening left side first, then just push up on the right side till you hear a click. Takes about 1 min per light. Works for all Deville types 00-08

You need to support the engine when removing any mounts. The mounts bolt to the engine, and bolt to the unibody of the car. You can find the locations of all of the engine mounts by hunting around the engine bay or by picking up a Chiltons and Haynes manual.

Try replacing the flasher. It is located on the fuse pannel and it is the large gray or other color in the box. Look at the fuse I.D. to make sure that you find the right one. GOOD LUCK.
