Unlike other cameras, a daguerreotype plate in a Wolcott camera is placed in front of focusing system, and is counter-face its object, since the camera uses a concave mirror to project the image. An opening in top of the camera acts as a viewfinder, and a white screen is placed in a moveable plate holder to see if image is in focus, before the plate is loaded. At the end of exposure, a sliding shutter keeps the plate from further exposure.

hi all. i really need your help. i have colorimeter which can get the information about RGB, luminance of light source such as LED. but i don't know where the colorimeter get the information from and how? recently i found so many articles about CCD. and i understood, the CCD Camera can get the value of luminance of light source. CCD is just a image sensor. when i take a video of LED , each cell of CCD has information about electric charge and CCD analyse brighteness based on electric charge. and it can be display as a signal. that's just a theory. i need, how can i get the information about luminance!?? i'll take a video of LED using CCD Camera or special colorimeter, and connect it to computer so that i can get the information. does anyone can let me know? please help me thanks
