Does it sounds after mechanical mitral valve replacement?

Yes. It ticks like a clock. Sometimes loud enough for others to hear it especially in a quiet room. You can wear an analog watch (a watch with hands, not digital) and blame the noise on the watch when around other people (like in a meeting). After having the valve for a while you will begin to get used to the noise and naturally disregard it. I hope this helps.

What is the best workout regimen for me?

I'm 40 years old, have had difficulty keeping weight off over the years. Although I am not lazy, I am not a fitness buff. In the past two years I have had to change my diet to low carb/low sugar due to cancer and no thyroid. As I have done so, I have dropped weight but still need to lose 50 more pounds. I am looking for the best program that will tone all this loose skin as well as shape and drop the remaining weight. I know it won't happen overnight but are there any supplements I can take to help aid the process and what's the best route for me as I have back and leg issues?

I am healthy but I could always look better What kind of things should I eat that aren't salty or too sweet and what kind of at home work outs could I do to tone my body?

Fruits or energy bars (I like Clif bars). Crunches, planks, run, tricep dips, yoga, pushups, leg lifts, flutter kicks(lay on back with hands under butt, raise shoulders up off floor and lift your legs up in the air and kick rapidly), I forget what another one is called but its like the flutter kicks but you also flutter your arms instead of laying on them, there are tons more. Supermans/skydivers

When does aerobic exercise become anaerobic exercise?

It is different for everyone, remember that you are always using both, so i guess you mean when does the predominate system become anerobic.

It is different for everyone because we all have a different ability to get oxygen in our body, and anerobic energy production is energy production without the use of oxygen.

This will generally happen at 60% of maximal intensity but can be much higher in advanced athletes and lower in very unfit athletes. You can generally feel it when the burn kicks in.

It is a cyclical process. Aerobic exercises like cycling, running is a long duration exercises that need oxygen. Anaerobic exercises do not need oxygen. These are the short duration exercises and they produce oxygen that can be used for aerobic exercises. http://amateurwrestlingusa.com/

If i run for 30-45 minutes 3 times a week on top of doing kickboxing 3 times a week will i gain a ton of bulky muscle or will i lose weight I'm 5'7 16 years old and 130 pounds and i want to be 115?

I'm an exercise science student and one thing I know is that girls will not gain muscle unless they lift constantly and take testosterone. Many women have an irrational fear of muscle gain. Depending on your body comp you may not have 15 lbs to lose. Women should be at least 15 percent body fat. Test your body fat first to find out if you have 15 lbs of fat to lose (this is very important). You probably burn 90-100 cals per mile you run, so figuring you get 4-5 miles on those days, that's like 500 cals a day on the days you work out. If you eat a really good diet and can maintain a 500 cal deficit, it will take 7 days to lose a lb of fat (fat is 3500 calories per pound). that means the total would be like 4 months. You should go online and search under base metabolic rate to find out how many calories you burn per day (using a met. rate. calculator) so you can find out if you have a calorie deficit each day. Be careful of dieting too much at such a young age. A healthy weight is always better than being underweight.

If thalia was fat how many pounds will she weight?

If Thalia was fat, how many pounds she will weigh is dependent upon her body shape and her height. It is impossible to say at what point someone is overweight without knowing this information.

What is the fastest way for men to lose weight?

I know that nobody loves this answer, but military bootcamp results only prove it.. proper diet and exercise, combined with regular sleeping patterns and making sure your burning more calories then you consume, is the most permanent, most healthy and over all best way to lose weight. If you want to lose weight fast, and arent so concerned about doing it the "right" way, then take a quality multivitamin everyday, eat nothing but small portions cabbage and saurcraut 5 times a day, drink atleast 8 ounces of water with every meal, and run, run, run just as fast as you can, as long as you can, when your too tired to continue, stop and rest, once you catch your breath, do it again and repeat as much as possible. I went from 265-195 in 2 months doing that, its not the smartest choice, but desperate times call for desperate measures

What would cause throwing up after cardio exercise?

People tend to vomit after working out because of what is called an "Energy imbalance". This happens to people who don't workout for a long time, then one day decide to run a mile. Or people who run a mile everyday and then decide to sprint a mile. Your body gets used to a certain level of activity and when that level is increased all the sudden your body will react like you just got the flu. You will vomit, get dizzy and in some cases get a low grade fever. After you rest your body realized that everything is okay, and will go back to normal.

Just start slow, work your way up and don't over due it.

How do you start running?

You need to stretch and loosen up first. Make sure you have good supportive shoes. Then, start off slow to warm up before you really get running fast.

How does exercise affect the inspiratory area?

If blood flows through the lungs twice as fast as rest, it picks up twice as much oxygen per minute because as cardiac output rises, the rate of blood flow through the lungs also increases. Furthermore, the rate at which O2 diffuses from alveolar air into the blood increases during maximal exercise because blood flows through a larger percentage of the pulmonary capillaries, providing a greater surface area for diffusion of O2 into the blood. Also, when exercise is strenuous and demanding the breathing rate will increase. At the end of an exercise session, an abrupt decrease in ventilation rate is followed by a more gradual decline to the resting level.
