tumblers are merely brass pins. go to any hardware store & purchase a small tube of graphite lubricant. it is a dry lube - do not use oil as it will make your tumblers gum up over time. simply squirt a small amount of graphite into the lock, then insert and remove the key a few times. if this does not free the tumbler, using a very fine pick or perhaps another key with a different cut, attempt to push the tumbler further into it's hole. once some of the graphite works its way into the hole, the tumbler will pop up like normal.

If your wiring is good, the relay may be the problem. The relay is located under the dash. Its a retangular relay with 2 prongs and a little tip on it.

Four bolts hold the seats in. Pull the seat all the way forward & remove the two bolts behind the seat (one each side). Push the seat all the way back & remove the front bolts. The seat should come right out (mine did!).

The firing order of all 4.6L Ford engines is 1-3-7-2-6-5-4-8 regardless of year.

That is true but on 2001 through present crown vics with the 4.6Liter, like all crown victorias does have the same firing order. I would like to specify the timing is done by the cars computer and these models after 2001 are coil on plug ignition. On 2001 or later just change one plug at a time, but all the coils are the same and you want even be able to plug the coils out of place.

Driver front: 5678 Order of cylinders and run the wires off the coils to the corresponding cylinder.

Take off the lisence plate and go from the opening, or go from under the bumper. You need long and skinny arms to do it easily, a son or neightbor usually can help!

Those need to be pressed off and on with a hydralic press. I'd find a professional shop to have it done.

It's located under the car, right below the trunk/cargo area. There should be a hole in the middle of the rear cargo area where you attach the lug wrench and turn to the left. Keep cranking it until the spare tire reached the ground. It's in the owner's manual.

What happens the starter is so close to the exhaust that the inside of the starter expands causing the starter to lock up, recommend try and get a starter heat shield from like an aftermarket shop like auto zone or pepboys or summit racing .com or jeggs .com

Look at 2 things. Replace the air filter ASAP. Check to make sure the air intake before the filter is not clogged. Also check the exhaust system and see if you have a bent pipe somewhere. A clogged catalytic converter is another possibility.

yes they do go bad and leak usually when the plug that plugs in to it is removed they leak from the electrical connectors when worn

GM recommends 10w30 for driving in temps above 0 degrees, and 10w40 in extreme heat.

If you are underneath the car its on the bottom of the engine on the starter side. Not too difficult to get to and change. In the C5 Tech section over at Smokinvette.com you will see a thread on how to change this. Pretty easy once you see the diagrams of it. Good luck!
