350 Ls1 or 350 lt1 but the Lt1 has a cast iron block and the ls1 have a all aluminum block there fore the ls1 block is lighter. "but the make the same horsepower

BASICALLY YOU NEED TO REMOVE THE BUMPER ENOUGH TO LOOSEN THE SCREWS FROM THE BACK OF THE TAILIGHT ASSEMBLY TO SLIDE IT OUT THE BACK.

I am not sure, but it sounds like your heater core may be leaking. You may be lucky, and only have a hose leak. But most of the time its the core that goes bad and needs fixed or replaced. You may check under your hood and look at the two hoses that go into the fire wall on the right side of the car. If your lucky one may be leaking at the clamp and only need to replace that clamp. But most of the time it will be the heater core in the fire wall that's the problem and need's replaced or fixed. If you need to drive the car before getting it fixed. You can take both the hose's off the core at the fire wall. And connect them both together with a two or three inch pipe and two clamps. This way you can still drive your car until you get time to have it fixed. Be ware though that by placing both hoses together you will not have a heater. Good Luck M.C.S. there are 3 relays 2 are for the headlight motors left and right

Once you remove the dash plastic surround, you will find two bolts that hold the column up into the dash. As you loosen these bolts, the column will drop into your lap. I hope this helps you. Mark

It's either a bad switch or an intermittent connection in one of the wires.

1. Remove the front floor kick-up panel.

2. Remove the cover from the I/P electrical center.
3. Remove the BLO MOT (blower motor) MaxiFuse No. 49 from the I/P electrical center.
4. Remove the right side instrument panel lower insulator panel.
5. Disconnect the blower motor resistor electrical connector from the blower motor.
6. Disconnect the blower motor cooling tube from the HVAC module.
7. Remove the three blower motor retaining screws.
8. Remove the blower motor with fan from the HVAC module.

It depends if you are talking quarter mile or long run. i believe that the supra with mild bolt ons will smoke most corvettes except the brand new ones.

Only you can tell. Jack the rear tires off the ground and mark the tire in one spot then rotate the tire one time around and count how many times the driveshaft turns and there you go. fairly close anyway.

I blew at least one fuse when I tried to jump the car. The only fuse that appears to be blown has been replaced and everything works but the headlights do no pop-up. They come on but they won't turn around. I see no fuse dedicated for this purpose in the manual.

The steering column is energy absorbing and is designed to compress in a front-end collision to minimize the possibility of an injury to the driver of the car. Once the steering column is removed from the car, the column is extremely susceptible to damage. Dropping the column on its end could collapse the steering shaft or loosen the plastic injections which maintain column rigidty. Leaning on the column assembly could cause the jacket to bend or deform. Any of the above could impair the column's collapsible design. Use a standard wheel puller and never hammer on the end of the shaft. # Disconnect the battery # Remove pinch bolt at universal coupling of intermediate shaft # Remove lower steering column attaching bolt on the dash & toe panel support # Remove 2 capsule bolts on instrument panel reinforcement assembly # Disconnect all electrical connectors from steering column # Remove steering column assembly

Purchase a torque wrench with the correct range. If you need to do heads and high torque bolts get one which goes to 150 ft.lbs. If your torqueing lighter bolts oil pan, intake etc.. you can use a Inch pound range. Just multiply the torque required by 12. For example if the bolt requires 10 foot pounds the inch pound setting is 120 inch pounds. Buy a good wrench "click" type is preferred. Get your required torque numbers from the appropriate shop manual.

I don't have one at the time but the horn themselve are located in front of the radiator. The low note is behind the head lights and the high note horn is mounted on the frame in between the head lights. Plus this location should be approximetely the same for a 78'.

The Shadow convertible top was never designed to go all the way down. When sold originally, they came with a vinyl boot that was to cover the roof rails and be stored in the trunk when not in use. Notice the snaps above the speakers in the back seat area and the three above the trunk area for the boot cover. There was a booklet included with your owners manual titled"Convertible--Owner's Manual Supplement". It is a red and white striped 21 page booklet on do's and don't's. You can probably find it online like eBay etc. Remember, the Shadow had it's top literally cut off to become a convertible. That is why there are three pieces of plastic surrounding the base of the soft top and trunk.
