there are 2 white plastic pull tebs that you pull straight up and out then the headlight asembely comes right out just unplug the wiring and turn the bulb counterclockwise a 1/4 turn.

It is beneath the lower radiator hose on the radiator.

looking from the top of the motor, the distributor turns clockwise. If you have a vaccum advance mounted, the vaccum line is always pointing opposite the rotation.

its probably the wiper transmition. try googleing how to replace wiper transmittion for Chevy Impalla.

or it might be that just one of the motors is bad, which is like an $80 part (from gspeedshop first i would check the nut under the cover on the bottom of the wiper arm these nuts are made to loosen up if wiper is jammed from ice or snow flip the bottom cover up and i think its a 13 mm nut make sure its tight if tight then check wiper linkage)

First, BE SURE YOUR VEHICLE'S COOLING SYSTEM IS FULL!

your vehicle requires a radiator FULL of 'Dex Cool' coolant.

If not, FILL IT! If it keeps 'disappearing' after a few days or a few weeks, your engines gaskets are probably worn beyond ignoring. (I killed my Malibu by ignoring the issue / very similar engine). They MUST be replaced before the engine oil and coolant 'become one with each other' (BTW... this is bad).

If your engine is full, and your coolant hoses become firm (firm by means of pressure from heated gases and liquids expanding in your cooling system) after running a while...

I would start with the Thermostat...

If your engine is not running anywhere near 195 degrees Fahrenheit after running for about 15 minutes, your thermostat is most likely stuck open and , therefor, your engine is not warming up to operating temperature. Just watch your temperature guage on your next trip to the market. My 2003, 2300 V6 engine needs to warm to 150-160 to even start to heat the vehicles interior and during very cold conditions, it may take up to 175-180 before good 'hot' air gets going. Be aware other issues can cause this as well. Water pump failures and blockages in the system can cause COLD air blowing from the heater as well. If the air is cool or WARM, go with the thermostat first. It's inexpensive, and 'relatively' easy to do.

Just check all your hoses for tightness and I believe the radiator reservoir is on that side also along with the waterpump, it's hard to say what it is without being able to see your problem. The car should still be under warranty so you should take it to the shop.

Your local Chevy dealer parts man can print that out for you.

The 3387 filter is a smaller/shorter version of the 3960 filter. It is used on alot of V4 and V6 GM engines, for example the S10 Blazers, Buicks, Chevy's and Pontiacs.

After a bit of looking, I answered my own question. The 2008 impala low pressure 134A air conditioning service port is located about 6 inches forward of the firewall, center of engine compartment. It is most easily viewed from the right side of the vehicle and it pointed in that direction.

Look on the inside of your drivers side door, there should be a latch which you can disable. Lis@

1. You have to take out the two screws behind the fuse panel covers on the passenger and drivers side 2. you need to take the two screws out above the instrument cluster. 3. Using a door tool (or screw driver if you are careful) simply pry the dash off slowly. It is only held on by clips. 4. You need to put the key in, turn the car to Accesory and put the shifter in park. 5. slowly take the dash peice off. you will then have to unhook the hazard lights. once that is out you should have smooth sailing. In the trunk, remove the convenience net(if installed), remove the 2 wing nuts, pull the carpet away, remove the 2 hex nuts. Gently but firmly remove the tail light assembly, grasp the light socket & turn counterclockwise. Change bulb (3057). Good idea to change both sides & keep the other one as a spare...

you need manifold vacuum. Either on one of the intake runners or at the base of the carb.

Put your key in the ignition put foot on brake and gently turn the key and the steering wheel. It is probably stuck because your wheels are turned.

That depends on how extensive the problem is, if it is just leaking externally it is cheaper to replace the gasket. If it has severely overheated, the heads can POSSIBLY be warped, but even so may be able to be repaired. If the coolant got into the oil and was not noticed for a considerable amount of time, internal engine parts can be severely damaged which would warrant engine replacement.
