The Chevy Impala did not come out in 2004. The eighth generation Impala came out in 2000 and then the ninth generation Impala came out in 2006. The tenth generation is expected for 2014.

there is none If it is the same as the 2007 3.5, it will be beside the power steering pump. behind the hoisting bracket. it will have a black valve stem cap on it. unscrew the cap and mash the valve stem, Be careful, it has pressure.

between the engine and the muffler underneath the car would be the logical place.

You do not, this is regulated by the ECM. The car's top speed is 108mph.

You need to remove 4 bolts on the bottom end of the panel using a splinned tool of the correct size. You can also use an Allen key.

Then using a flat screw driver to lift gently on either side of the panel, unclip the plastic fastners. They tend to break off, so be prepared to buy replacement ones from a main dealer. There are three fastners either side, which run from top most of the panel to the bottom.

Then using a plastic spatular or a flat screw driver, lift the plastic cover on the door handle starting from the front end, i.e. the end with the electric window winding buttons. Just gently lift, nothing will break. Just be careful not to scratch the panel if you are using a metal tool.

Once the panel if off you can remove two bolts behind the door handle. Agaon you need an Allen key or an appropriate size splinned plug.

To finally remove the panel you then need to lift from the bottom and gently push it out of the top grove. Inside will be several electric cables which can easily be disconnected. Just be careful not to strecth them and break them off.

Open the Passenger's Door. Remove the Passenger's Side Instrument Panel Fuse Block Cover. Locate & Remove the Fuse marked {C/LTR}. Install new fuse.

A wheel bearing is pressed in to the hub so that it is able to safely operate. To replace a bearing on a Chevy Impala remove the hub from the car and take the unit to a machinist. Have the press out the old bearing and press in the new one.

i've found that when i use 87 octane, my car engine lights comes on and i get a traction control problem, but when i use 92-93 octane i don't have any problems!

The dealer can disable the passenger side only chime (Canada). Done through the computer set up. Don't try to disconnect wires at the seat belt itself; they are interconnected to the passenger air bag using magnetic switches.

the simple answer is the coolant fluid - make sure it's full where it's marked, after driving it ten miles. the bigger problem is unlikely if it runs alright, so try the first. you might just need to flush and fill the coolant too..

After replacing all of the above items on this vehicle, there may be only a few answers left. You may have a blown head gasket(s). The engine will overheat no matter what with that. Also look at your hoses, sometimes a hose will be weak only under pressure and collapse as to block the water flow.

It should be in the fuse box, check in your owners manual.

In you Book that comes with the car. You have to use the radio to reset the low tire light. It explains how in the book and is easy to do once you do it. You can also set the auto lock when put in gear mode as well. No need to have the car running, but need to turn on the key to accessory or on. do not turn on the radio when adjusting the modes, just push in the center of the off on button, and hold until the codes ..in English. come up and then just below that button scroll up to which ever mode you want to change, set the mode on or off and when it says its done turn off the key. Underneath your vehicle, a steel threaded cable comes from the back of one hub and is joined by a short cable from the other hub--then the original cable runs to a threaded end with an adjuster nut in it--and one smaller nut on the end outside of that--(this is the equalizer bar)--you'll see it real close to your transmission.

Pull the parking brake lever up sharply and then release it. Pull the parking brake lever to the second click and leave it there. You're looking for a slight drag of the brake shoes when you spin the wheels. To increase the drag, get under at the equalizer bar and turn the adjusting nut to take up the slack in the cables. Get out and spin the rear wheels if you think it's to tight. I will say don't be afraid to crank on it for a while as in this case, a little adjustment really does not go a long way. When you think you have the drag right, go back in the car and pull the brake up the the fourth click. At this point the wheels should be locked and you should not be able to turn them even when trying hard. If you can, tighten them up a little more. Once you've done this, release the brake and make sure the wheels spin freely. If they are still binding due to the parking brake, back off the adjustment a little. And that's basically the whole adjustment procedure.

On the back of the switch or on the bottom I forget now ther is a little button push it in and pull the light switch shaft off. take the panel off in front of the switch. take the nut off holding the switch in . after you put the new switch in just push the headlight switch shaft back in. I just want to say you might not have to take the panel off in front of switch

Assuming the parking brake is a similar style to that on my 1995 Prizm, this is a very easy fix. Start by removing the center shrowd which surrounds the parking brake. There will be screws holding it in place on either side in the front, as well as underneath the carpet in the little storage area. Once all fasteners are out, with the help of a screwdriver you can pry this shrowd off. The brake handle attatches to the end of a wire with two nuts: the bottom one adjusts the brake (right/tight, left/loose) and the nut on top locks the lower one in place. After fidgiting with it for a few minutes, you should be able to figure out how tight to make it and be able to reassemble the cover.

You have a contact switch that closes the circuit once the hood is closed (button switch) look for it, shoot some contact cleaner on it or replace it. it shouldn't be more than $5.

You will need to hoist the engine out about 12 inches to clear the crankshaft and then you should be able to wiggle the pan out. You need an engine hoist and you will have to unbolt the engine and trans mounts, while the engine hoist is attached with chains to the engine. You will also need to unbolt the the cv joints, but this is no easy job, so get a Hanes manual for your car before you begin. You can get a copy of many auto repair manuals from the library and use it for just this job at no cost to you.
