Cause is the passlocks contact behind the lock, The female end in the housing section are corroded and a simple solution would be to spray a very small amount of electrical lubricant or wd40 and the the security system should detect the new ignition when inserted.

ABS Light is on because there is a problem detected with the ABS system. Every time you start the vehicle the ABS system goes through a self test. If it detects a problem the light is illuminated. Once the problem is repaired correctly the system will turn the light off all by itself. Have the codes read by your local auto parts store at no cost then determine what the next step should be to make repairs.

One reason a 2005 Chevrolet Impala may turn off at red lights or when you slow down is a faulty fuel pump.

95 Chevy impala im trying to find out could i put 2004 door panels on it or what door panels can i change it with because its hard to find 95 door panels

The only door panels that will fit a 95 impala are from the same year or of the same body style impala, 2004 I don't believe is the same body style.

Before beginning, You will need a new thermostat (obviously) AND a new Throttle body gasket (apx. $1.50).

(remove hoses and clamps as you see fit...)

1. You will need to drain radiator fluid (at least partly).

2. Detach Throttle cable assembly (2 bolts in top, 1 nut bottom(front)) from Throttle body in order to access throttle body bolts.

3. Remove throttle body (2 bolts) in order to access the thermostat housing. You may run into issues with some hoses, feel free to disconnect and move them out of the way. JUST REMEMBER to reconnect them!

4. it will be easier to access the 2 bolts holding the thermostat housing to the engine by removing the exhaust manifold heat shielding, however, it may prove to be more trouble than its worth. you can access the bolts without removal but can be frustrating. Either way... its your choice.

5. The thermostat is housed in an aluminum, "J" shaped, pipe connected to the engine beneath the throttle body. Removal requires removal of the upper bolt and near removal of the lower (my vehicle has a slit in lower bolt hole so the housing can be "slid out" without complete removal).

6. once removed, you will have access to your thermostat.

CLEAN ALL SURFACE METALS of old gaskets and debris THEN replace your parts as you removed them. The thermostat itself has a gasket on it that seals up the housing. The throttle body gasket was (MOST LIKELY) destroyed during the removal. Remove any leftover gasket material. Be gentle! Remember, this part is trying to pull clean air from the filter. Any scratches and you may end up with a vacuum leak. The throttle body and thermostat housing should be torqued tight but not too much. Maybe 30lbs. I'm not exactly sure. Maybe another contributer has the answer to that.

To change the engine oil in a 2000 Road King. Step 1. Warm up bike to operational temp.(This will thin the oil and help flow) Step 2. Locate the oil drain plug. (All touring bikes have three 5/8 drain plugs under the bike. One on the right side by the exhaust for the trans, One on the left side for the primary oil and one in the middle faceing the front wheel for the engine oil.) Step 3. Remove the engine oil drain plug and let oil drain until it stops. (Bike should be up right not on the side stand.) Step 4. Replace the rubber o-ring on the drain plug(H-D part #11105 and apply liquid Teflon to the threads) Return the drain plug to the oil pan do not over tighten!!! Step 5. Replace oil filter (H-D part # 63798-99A) Partaily fill oil filter with fresh oil (H-D 20-50) With your finger put a film of oil on the filter gasket. Install filter .Tighten filter until gasket seats and turn one half turn. Do not over tighten!!!!!! Step 6. Fill oil tank with 3.5 qts H-D 20-50 oil ( the manual calls for four qts but this is for dry applications only. Putting four qts in will cause the engine breather to blow oil into the air filter and could also blow out gaskets and seals causing leaks.) Step 7. Start the bike and bring to operating temp. Shut down bike and check oil on the dipstick with the bike on the side stand the oil should be in the middle of the add and fullhot range. Top off oil if needed. Check for leaks at the drain plug and filter.

The short answer to this would be no, it will not fit. Not without considerable re-engineering of what G.M. did.

The full size Chevrolets used an "X" frame from 1958 to 1964. The Olds, Pontiacs and Buicks used a standard frame configuration. (Frame rails more out-board) The exception would be Canadian built Pontiacs, which shared the X frame configuration.

1960 Olds 88 and super 88 except Convertible would be the only direct bolt in replacement frame.

go buy the "idiots guide to A/C recharging" at a parts stor, includes some freon... also Everyone should have a manual, and the library should have a professional shop manual available for copies in the reference section (FOR FREE)...read up and fix 'em like the pro's...! :) Dave

youll need to locate the low pressure line which is tucked down by the passenger side strut, should put a gauge on it first turn the ac on full blast, to make sure its the problem and not a compressor issue unless you already have, should put a sealer through it first which contains a dye and check along all the jointed areas where the manufacturer puts o rings, those area's are most common for leaks, add one can if there are no leaks, and re check with the gauge, i just did it to my girlfriends car and works like a charm, hope this helps a little

actually yes, this is very vital to a superb sounding system, you need the auxillary ports in the back of an aftermarket CD player. these are used to plug your amp into with the RCA jacks, then you just connect your speakers to the amp and then you will have your speakers sounding better.
