What do you do if your car does not recegnise your passkey?

I'm no expert on this but you might try getting a new key, try local locksmiths in the phone book, they can test your key and ask them how much for a new one, a good locksmith might give you a good deal, here we have a guy that copies keys for $20 where big car lots want at least $100. =( And they usually test your key for free, this guy did and its not whats wrong with my car apparently. He thinks its a broken wire on my car is why its not recognizing it. So apparently this passkey thing is very complicated. =( I have to save up and find a good mechanic. Ne ways good luck.

2003 Monte Carlo what tire size do you need to prevent any rubbing on 22 inch rims and is a lift kit required?

225/30/r22 front will be alright if u remove the plastic moding on the inner fender whel half way there is a crease were you can cut it or tear it along that crease if not it goes all the way to the front bumber and also supports it!! now that's the easy part the hard part is the rear strut housing there is a bottom plate with some finess and a sledge hit the flat plat up and in, and keep checking wheel for fitment that's the only way i got around it its gheto but it works just fine and i don't think it effects the spring support or anything or at least i havent had any problems and i have 22" players on my 03 Monte Carlo, whatever you do don't put spacers in i had to learn that the hard way they will rub and fender will eat the rubber right off the side wall, good luck and ride good i don't know if this is an old post or not but there u go

How reset low tire pressure light on a Chevy impala 2004 with aftermarket radio?

I have a 2004 Impala SS. I currently have a aftermarket deck, the only other way to turn off the low tire pressure light is either 1) bringing it into the dealer, or 2) turn your key to the accessories position, turn your lights on and off three to five times, and it should have shut off your low tire pressure light.

How do you remove the front seats in a 2002 Monte Carlo?

There are bolts that you must remove in order to take out the front seats of a 2002 Monte Carlo. There are two in the back of the seat and two in the front of the seat. If you have heated seats you will also have to remove the wires for that before you take the seat out.

What causes a high pitched noise when you start a 2002 Monte Carlo LS?

The starter solenoid is probably sticking, causing it not to retract the gear and spin with the engine. If it only lasts for a few seconds, then that's what it is. If it keeps squeaking for a long time, it may be the serpentine belt.

How many inches lift kit will you need to put 24 inch rims on your 2007 Chevy Impala?

The best would be an airlift suspension system and still some cutting, new brake pads an such would be highly advised... I have 22's on my 07 and i was talking about putting 24's on it at the shop, but the guy said it will be a horrible decision for both handling, for the car its self, and time (I was in a hurry when i got mine done) I don't know the price range you are looking at, or the area you live in, but I would suggest you just stick with 22x8 an skinny low profile tires... 24's can be done, just be prepared for higher than normal costs, and a pain in to drive. it looks raw from the side on 24's an when its moving but 24's stick way out from the side of the car. like an inch or 2.. and that doesn't look good to me... But, depending on the brand on rime/tire... low would be 3,000 high up to 6,000... I'm glad I stuck with 22's... if you were to lift the car you may have to buy/install new struts which is not cheap... if you have the money you could make it happen, just go to your local shop... I went to 3 different ones and all were pretty much the same answers
