if you have the 3.2 engine... you need to be an experience mechanic. The timing belt on this engine drive the water pump. Therefore, the radiator fans needs to be removed, the harmonic balancer ( special tool ) needs to be removed, then the timing belt needs to be taken off. A 2.7L is even worse, the front of the engine, valve covers, and intake manifold need to be removed. The pump is driven by a timing chain. Take it to a mechanic, this is not a DIY job.

Open hood, look to make sure you have water in the water container, If not add water. if you have water in the container, Then get back in car and start washer motor with switch, listen for motor noise, if no washer motor noise then you have no power to the motor, check fuse. if your washer motor starts then inspect the water lines to the window spray nozzles, starting at water container to fire wall. if all is good then they should work. the only other thing I can think of is the filter on the end of the pick up line in the water container is clogged with dirt.

hey i just had to do this. my advice is to CHECK it before u take it off, and if u have the money it is DEFINATELY worth takin to a repair shop. disconnect negative battery connection. remove the serp belt from crank/idler/alternator side (driver side) . remove mud covers from underside to axcess radiator support. remove 4 bolts for radiator support. support radiator and trans cooler with a jack stand. push radiator foreward and remove alternator. replace in reverse order. hopefully the alternator is actually bad
