Firstly remove the glow plug link cable that goes between the 4 glow plugs,these are secured with a 8mm nut,it pays to put a bit of grease in side the socket when you do this to stop the nut dropping (use this method when re fitting as well) after the link lead has been removed you will need a 12 mm deep socket to drop down over the plug ,then unscrew anti clock wise . You may need to loosen the injector pipes to allow an easier access to the plugs . number 4 cylinder is the hardest plug to access and can be done with a 12 mm spanner. Don't forget though number 4 cylinder is at the timing belt end on these engines.

Once the plugs are out its a reverse of the above to refit.

You can check the plugs though without taking them out, just remove the the link lead across the top of the plugs then get a piece of wire and hold one end on to the live terminal on the battery then touch it on to the threaded part of the plug ,if it sparks then the plug is ok

To remove the battery from a Citroen C3 keyfob.

Firstly unloop the key from an keyring.

Remove the cross head screw from near the metal part of the key

Use a small coin or flat bladed screwdriver to lever apart the two halves of the clamshell.

There is an easy access point in the clamshell at the point the key attaches to the keyring.

You will then see the battery on the circuit board.

You will need to remove the passenger side plastic wing plastic from inside the wheel arch. In front of you on the gearbox you will see a square drive plug. You need to remove this plug, fill the gear box with oil until the oil starts to drip out from the hole.

It is the light for Engine auto diagnosis. If it flashes or stays on it means fault in the fuel injection, ignition or antipollution system. Needs attention at a garage.

The original Tire size for a 1998 Chevrolet Venture Van is P215/70R15 and the tires had a "S" speed rating. The original rim is a 15X6J. This information was taken off the manufacturers door sticker on our van.

The engine oil drain plug on the Citroen C3 1.4HDi is a 21mm hexagonal bolt (with a copper seating washer) located vertically in the oil reservoir (sump) at the bottom of the engine approximately in line with the drivers seat (RHD). Not to be confused with the horizontally located, allan slotted plug located at the rear of the transmission housing. To access the oil drain plug - (safety first - engine off, handbrake on, out of gear, wheels chocked etc) Remove the eight slotted keepers that secure the under engine splash guard by turning them through 90 degrees and pulling downwards. Some may be awkward - persevere! Gently push or (pull) the guard so that the locating tabs at either end come away from the vehicle - put the guard to one side. The hex head of the oil drain plug will be in view just proud of (mild steel and possibly black painted) engine oil reservoir. It unscrews counter clockwise. Technically, on replacement a new copper seating washer should be used. Take care not to over tighten the plug. Refitting the splash guard is a reversal of removal though I find locating the rear tabs and the two rear most keepers first makes things easier.

I found the above possible without jacking up or ramping the vehicle and I'm not small.

The Citroen C3 has two fuse boxes. One is under the bonnet just to the right of the battery. It has a plastic cover that is quite hard to get off but there's a catch in the middle of the side facing the battery press the centre of this in with a screw driver and pull the cover. The second fuse box is inside the car in the glovebox. There is a grey plastic cover at the left side. Prise this off to reveal the fuses - really awkward to get at!

Remove front right wheel,remove inner wheel arch three torx screws and 4 plastic pins .(Need a forked tool to pull centre pin out 1/4 inch.)

Displace washer bottle. 10mm bolt at front left inside arch.bottle should slide around a little .you will then see horns on bracket in front of bottle.

there is one nut holding the bracket on .(12mm or 13mm sorry)

There is one electrical block connecting horns to loom.You will need to displace the wire clip and then pull off the plug.

It is damn awkward to do this as access is limited .

You could possibly do this by removing the bumper .but not sure.

Any type of oil will work in a berlingo can. There is not a specific type of oil a person needs to get for this van.

First, remove the wires. Then locate the nuts that hold the glowplugs in place and remove them. The glow plugs themselves can then be removed simply by unscrewing them. Then screw in the new glow plugs, replace the nuts and reconnect the wires.

The battery is covered with battery box on the right side. Open the box and it will come off as it is in two parts. Unscrew and remove the terminals. Lift out the battery and replace it with a new one. Put back the terminals and tighten the bolts on the terminal. Replace the battery box cover which should click together once they are properly aligned.
