You are limited only in terms of drive space, usually. This 'windows system restore' is handy to recover from bad program installs, spyware, some viruses etc, unless you frequently fill your computer's hard disk drives up [especially c:, the main HDD for most PC's]. DO NOT rely solely on this system restore, always back up your files, and after a year or two of having windows installed, you may need to reinstall the OS for good measure anyways. If your going to attempt a reinstall always make sure you have your WINDOWS CD/DVD handy, and any drivers you might need (video drivers, system drivers for motherboard like chipset and network [NIC] drivers, sound card drivers, and if you have a modem etc).
Back on terms... I'm telling you all this because - sometimes system restore FAILS, and it can leave you with a DEAD computer, or your files can be MISSING sometimes after a restore (yes, it WILL gladly erase your stuff sometimes, i have had it happen!). You do NOT want to have to take your computer to the local big box store only to have to pay 120 bucks to get it fixed... Not trying to fear monger I've just been doing this 15+ years and have had plenty of days spent repairing 'system restore murdered' computers. Keep your fingers crossed and make sure to keep your C:\ drive clean and clear of things you don't need, and you should be okay. One final note, if your PC runs out of space on that aforementioned drive, it will begin overwriting the oldest restore points first. LIKE I SAID BEFORE USING RESTORE, BACKUP YOUR WORK FILES FIRST. XVOD Codec Warning
XVod is a fake codec that is used to scam people.
Whoever created XVod have uploaded several movies on BitTorrent sites that ask you for this XVod codec to be able to watch the movie. When you want to download the codec, they will ask you to pay a certain amount of money. If you pay and are lucky, you will be able to watch the movie, but most times more errors will show up and finally you will realise that you paid for something that doesn't work at all!!!
It is strongly advice NOT to pay for the XVod codec!
What to do if your torrent has the XVod Codec?
If you still remember what the exact torrent was that you downloaded, go to the torrent's report function and report the torrent. (If you are a member, you can see the torrent that you downloaded in the Member Area!)
After you have reported the torrent, please delete the file that you downloaded and try downloading another torrent. All of the readers are requested NOT to download the software from torrentsu.com as it is a phishing site.

I'm just going to append this answer, as I have no method of actually verifiying what I have found. According to wildman-productions.org, this person created the codec and it is supposed to be free. I tried it on a file that was "XVod" encrypted video and it worked. The torrent was still a fake (even after encryption it was an advertisement and nothing else). The standalone binary (Windows) works. The installer ran into a problem when I tried to run it. BitDefender did not say it was malicious. I guess in the end, it is still a use at your own risk, but I agree with the above answer - DO NOT PAY!

I´ve just tried the binary but it is another fake. It changes the message to tell you that the file is now unlocked and that it is ready to be burned to a DVD but, only if you buy their super ultra shiny CD/DVD Burner software from media.ukpcrepair.com
Also, when you are "unlocking" the movie it tries to inject code into Internet Explorer (that was blocked by ZoneAlarm ;-) )
Don't waste your money, it is a fake.

The process PAUSES and all you have to do to get back to being logged on is search for "Windows Start-Up Application" and press delete. This can be very useful especially if you accidentally shut down while working on an important document or piece of work.
This only works if you are able to catch your computer WHILE it's shutting down, not if it's been turned off/logged off for an extensive time period.

I have downloaded IMVU 3 times on my old computer. There first time, it lasted 3 days then I had to delete it because it stopped me from accessing the Internet and it made my computer slower. The second time, it lasted about 3 weeks then I had to delete it because of the same things (it did last a little longer though). The third time it lasted about 4 to 5 months but then about 6 months later when IMVU was still on my computer, my computer just blanked out for no reason and wasn't ever fixed, I'm just glad i had insurance!
