Does anyone have a schematic for d-cell relaxation oscillator?
Relaxation oscillators just requie a certain voltage range in which to operate, so most any schematic for one will work, providing you have enough D cells to be able to supply the proper voltage.

It has been a long time since I worked in the industry, but I seem to recall that the values marked on the caps is in "MICROFARADS," when not marked otherwise. In the "old" days we used a benchtop AC powered "IMPEDENCE BRIDGE" to characterize the value of caps. I think I remember reading somewhere that there is now a battery powered, handheld device called an "LCR METER," which does the same thing. I checked with a couple of my local Radio Shack stores, and they don't even know what an impedence bridge is, let alone an LCR meter so if you want to get one, you'll have to go to an electronics supply house used by professionals. Another possibility for characterizing the values is to take the caps to a local TV/electronics repair shop and a technician might be able to help. Another possible source for help may be a local "Ham" radio club, or an operator.
There are three possible ways of data communication among computers:
1) broadcasting - ONE computer to ALL computers
2) unicasting - ONE computer to ONE computer
3) multicasting - ONE computer to A GROUP of computeres
as we discuss above that multicast means their is a group in a company and we have to send a mail to a particular group then we use a multicast network ...
and another example of multicast is ,In digital television broadcasting, to send multiple standard TV (SDTV) programs in the allotted bandwidth, rather than one high-definition TV (HDTV) program.
What language did the word electricity come from?
The word electricity originates from the Greek word "Electra".
What is the unit of electric flux?
The unit of electric flux is Volt-meter or Newton-meter^2 Coulomb^-1.
If a blowdryer has 1875 watts and another has 2600 watts is one better than the other?
2600 will get your hair dry a lot faster, but as far as 'better', the 1875 watt one won't destroy your ear drums as fast (which blow dryers do big-time).
What the meaning of two paper feeds for printer?
Some printers have multiple ways of feeding paper, for example:
# A printer may have a tray for different sizes of paper or multiple types of paper of the same size. # A printer may have the ability to "sheet feed" paper OR use continuous form paper (that's the type with the holes on the side where the paper comes out as one long piece)

This is an acronym, actually YPbPr, which represents analog component video. Y stands for the Luma (luminance signal or brightness), Pb is the Blue minus Lumu (R-Y), and Pr is the Red minus Luma (R-Y). From these three signals you can recreate the additive primary colors, Red, Green and Blue. This type of encoding is used because the color signal is sent at a lower sample rate the then lumanance signal, which takes advantage of how human eye detects more detail from the brightness of an image then the color.
Is a watt more powerful than a volt?
They are measures of different things. A watt is the standard unit of measurement of electrical power. You would state the brightness of a light bulb in terms of watts. A volt is a unit of measurement of force, or pressure, in an electrical circuit. You would describe the current coming through a wire in terms of volts. These definitions are from the TechEncyclopedia at http://www.techweb.com. I added the examples.
What is the Difference between air insulated substation and gas insulated substation?
Air insulated substation means air acts as the dielectric medium but in case of gas insulated substation SF6 is the dielectric medium. Gas insulated substations are having more advantages than air insulated substations.

How do you figure the watts of a 110 volt pump that is 135 hp and has an amp draw of 54?
Yes, power = voltage x current = 54 x 110 = 5940 watts. But the odd thing is the rated horsepower. I was taught that one horsepower = 746 watts, so 135 hp = 100,000 watts. Are you certain that the pump is rated at 136 horsepower? Or can anyone else address the discrepency? W=volts X amps; therefore W= (110)(54)
