Prisoners under the jurisdiction of the Federal Bureau of Prisons must by law serve a minimum of 85% of their minimum sentence. The 65 federal prison law is what the efforts to change that have collectively become known.

What is the expungement laws for NC?
To request the expungement of an offense from your STATE (not Federal) criminal record: You must have either been exonerated, acquited, or served the complete term of your sentence - then file a petition/motion with the court setting forth good reason(s) why your request should be granted. A judge will review your petition and the circumstances of your case and issue a ruling either granting or denying the request. AN EXPUNGEMENT IS NOT A PARDON! Expungement only removes the record of your offense from being available to the public. Law enforcement, the courts, and government agencies will always have access to your actual 'true' record. FELONS CONVICTED IN STATE COURT OF STATE CRIMES: If your request for expungement is granted and you are a resident of a state which completely or partially restores your "rights" (you will have to do research to learn if this applies to your state), you will still remain subject to any restrictions that your state laws place on you (e.g.- voting rights - elective office - firearms/ammunition possession - etc). CAUTION: FEDERALLY CONVICTED FELONS: It remains a FEDERAL felony for a federally convicted felon to EVER own or possess a firearm. The U.S. Criminal Code, makes the penalty for illegal possession of a firearm a mandatory minimum of fifteen (15) years in prison in some cases (Title 18 U.S.C. sec 924(e)(1). At this time federally convicted felons have no solution to their firearm disqualification. Congress has effectively suspended the review of federally convicted felons' petitions for restoration of their firearms privileges, by denying funding for the purpose.
Can you go to jail for a debt that is over 10 yrs old?
Yes, it is certainly possible.
Typically it won't occur though. Unless there is criminal activity involved, such as fraud, courts don't sentence people to jail on a civil debt.
For example a criminal offender is granted probation and is ordered by the Court to pay restitution to the victim. The offender stops reporting to his probation officer and does not pay the restitution as ordered so a warrant gets issued. The warrant will not go away until the offender is arrested even after ten years.
No.
A Probation Officer is not a Law Enforcement Officer. Only Law Enforcement Officers are required to give the Miranda Warning.

Can you send clothes to inmates in federal prison?
Unless you are referring to underwear, it is doubtful. They are clothed in uniforms issued by the prison system. I only have experience in California state prisons, so I don't know if it applies. They can get packages through certified vendors a few times per year. In their catologs, you'll find t-shirts, underwear, socks, shoes--necessities. The only exception I can think of is if you're specifically sending the clothes in which he/she is to parole in. But they probably have a specific protocol to follow in sending one of those packages. I mean, you can't just buy some syuff at Macy's and send it to them (I don't think).

What is the sentence for prescription theft in Arizona?
Prescription Theft is not taken lightly in the United States. The majority of States would consider Prescription Theft to be a felony. The class of felony for Prescription Theft and the sentencing for that class of felony varies from location to location. Other factors considered for sentencing would be the amount and the type of Prescription Drug that is stolen. Obviously stealing a prescription narcotic drug would carry a heavier penalty than stealing a prescription for congestion and allergies. Contact a lawyer as soon as possible. A felony charge is something that could really screw you over for life.

Once my husband is transferred I will use my van to take families up. Phone Number (718) 882-6911. Thanks ... Rosa

If a minor attempted robbery with BB gun what could the penalties be?
Basically the same penalties as using a real gun. In 2006, two boys (Ages 13 and 16) were charged with first-degree assault charges (this carries a maximum sentence of 25 years in prison.) The gun they were using was actually only a toy gun, not even a BB gun. I've provided the link to this particular story in the "Related links" section.
