Between 1979 and 1981 what parts are interchangeable on Nissan Datsun 280ZX?

According to Zcar dot com and Hybridz dot org since i was in need of an answer, i have found that near all parts are identical. Nearly 90%. Most body pieces will interchange, but i am unaware of minor differences (if any) in the body. I myself am going up to look at a 79' 280zx to be a parts car for my 82' 280zx. What i do know positively is 2+2 and coupe's body parts are not interchangeable from the firewall back. But everything else such as interior should be. The hatch from a 2+2 and coupe may interchange as well, but i am not sure of that. So in conclusion if you are considering buying a parts car for your year car X, and the parts car being a previous year car, it should be mostly interchangeable. The reverse way, i am unsure of though.

How does electricity cause a fuse to melt?

It gets very hot and can't contain that much heat without melting.

Above is true but what happens is the item (load) protected by the fuse is pulling more current or number of electrons through the circuit than what it was designed to handle. The more friction from electrons fighting each other, to get through the wire (fuse), the more heat is produced, the material that the fuse is made of, can only handle so much heat and then it burns open. This can happen by a number of things that may change.

The actual load can change or the voltage pushing the electrons through the wire may have gotten higher. It's not a simple answer to say why the fuse actually burns open.

1980 Datsun 210 stock tire size?

Both my mother and I had 1980 Datsun 210 Hatchbacks. Mine was the low end model and came with Toyo P155/80 R13's. Actually these were cheap bias ply tires and only lasted about 10,000 miles. My mother had the "sport" model and it came with Bridgestone P175/70 R13 radials which lasted a lot longer.

What is the value of a 1982 Datsun 720 King cab 4X4 pickup?

for a damaged Datsun 720 king cab its worth round 1500 medium 2500 and high round 5000 just remember its a old car and depending on quality is depending on price but I would not pay any higher than 25,000 for a great condition considering the parts are hard to get a hold of now.

How do you change out the front two speakers in your 1983 280zx?

For the front right, you just have to take out the glove box which is just unscrewing a series of screws. This will allow you to see the speaker and unscrew from below. I'm lost on the front left. I've replaced the rear and front right in my 1981, and am stuck on the front left.

What are the possible causes for the erratic timing on my Datsun 210?

Erratic timing on your Datsun 210 could be caused by several factors, including a worn or damaged timing chain or belt, which can lead to incorrect synchronization of the engine's components. Additionally, issues with the ignition system, such as faulty spark plugs or a malfunctioning distributor, may contribute to timing problems. Vacuum leaks or issues with the fuel delivery system can also affect engine performance and timing consistency.
