Headlights and tail lights do not work on 1989 dodge Dakota pick up whats the problem?
A few possibilities are; 1. the main light control switch is bad(most likely this) 2. fuse(s) blown or fuse kinks 3. shorted wires; sometimes if the truck has rust along the door frame/front seat mounting area/floor board area the wires will corrode and short under the carpet. Also these same set of wires can sometimes run next to or along side the frame rails under the car and do get corroded or damaged.
How do you recharge a 1996 Olds 88 air conditioner?
Using a set of a/c gauges put the blue hose on the low side (suction side) and the red hose on the high side (discharge side) and make sure that there is no freon in the system and if you have freon in the system then you will have to go to an automotive a/c shop and have them reclaim it for you..
Put the yellow hose on your vacuum pump and let it run for about 1 hour and then let it sit for 1 hour so that you can see if it will at least hold the vacuum pulled.
If so then let it run for an additional hour and then start the recharging process remembering to keep the low side readings between 30 to 40psi and the high side between 200 to 250psi depending on the outside temperature…………….
change both filters and be sure both are tight
How do you take the cooling fan off a 1994 Ford F-150 6-cylinder?

THIS ONLY REQUIRES YOU GOING TO YOU LOCAL AUTO PARTS STORE AND BUYING A "FAN WRENCH SET". PAY ATTENTION, THERE ARE 2 OR 3 DIFFERENT SIZES. THE COUNTER MAN SHOULD BE ABLE TO LOOK IT UP FOR YOURS. IF YOUR IN POSSESION OF A LARGE CRESENT WRENCH, IT WILL ALSO WORK, BUT, YOU'LL HAVE TO FIND SOMEWAY TO STOP THE WATER PUMP PULLEY FROM TURNING. What makes a dodge Dakota misfire?
To fix the notorious random multiple cylinder misfire code on mid 90s dodge trucks like the Dakota and the ram. After much research and headaches. It basically comes down to two things, secondary ignition crossfire which there is a TSB you can follow and it is, TSB18-48-98. It has to be followed exactly or it wont help. The second thing has to do with the engine not having enough dedicated grounds. The first aftermarket ground you should add is on the left fuel rail going to the windshield wiper motor mounting bolt, the right rail already has a ground strap to the firewall. 2nd is off the ignition coil bottom mounting bolt to the web(side) of the frame.Make sure and use 12 gauge wire. This should fix most of yalls random misfire if you've ruled everything else out. NO CAR BEFORE MOPAR.

Where is the cab access port in a dodge Dakota where an external antenna can be feed in?
There are not many places to access the outside without drilling but if you have enough cable ( and Im assuming you are talking about something like a xm satellite antenna) you can run it through the third brake light opening at the back of the cab. This will require removing the back portion of the headliner retainer and running the cable along the door sill and up behind the seat, possibly under the door trim and along the inside of the headliner so it will be hidden.
