Disconnect the electrical connection at the blower fan motor, put a new fuse back in and see if the truck starts and runs without blowing the fuse. If so replace the blower fan motor.

If the fuse still blows, disconnect the ac clutch wire from the ac compressor and try again.

The EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation) solenoid on a 3800 Series II engine is typically located near the front of the engine, mounted on or near the intake manifold. It is connected to the EGR valve and is usually positioned on the driver's side. To access it, you may need to remove some components for better visibility, depending on the specific vehicle model. Where is the fuel filter located on a 1995 Dakota with the V8?

If it is the same as my friends 1996 Dakota, which pretty sure it is...

THEN the gas filter is located in with the fuel pump under the truck.

We found out you could not simply buy the fuel filter, instead you are

supposed to go to the Manufacturer and order the whole fuel pump unit...

That is messed up! It is over $500 then to replace a plugged fuel filter...

Again, that is messed up! We did not end up having to do that with my friends truck, it turned out to be another issue.

There has to be another way of changing the filter, it appears you can order them or something similar on-line, but you can NOT order them from your local auto parts store.

Good Luck!

How do the electric windows work on a 2000 Dodge Dakota quad cab?

Voltage is sent from battery through the up\down switch to the window roller upper moter. The motor moves the regulator up and down. The window is connected to the regulator. To check if the motor is bad try taking some jumper wires and connecting a 12 volt battry to the motor. It should go up or down. You can reverse the polarity and it will move the opposite way. It the motor moves this way then your switch is bad. Make sure you check fuses first though.

Your peugeot 306 xnd headlights work on full beam the low beam will not work the fuses and lamps are ok and the dashboard light says the low beam is on and it isn't any ideas anyone?

If the low beams are not working on a Peugeot 306, it is possible that the low beam headlights are burned out. If the high beam headlamps are part of the same bulb, perhaps the wrong bulbs are in the sockets. Some older cars have both the high and low beams running off the same bulb and the low beam can burn out both sides at the same time.

1998 sunfire why does daytime lights flash then go off and the low beam doesn't work but the high beam does?

This seems to be a very common Sunfire problem. It seems GM didn't do to great of a job with the wiring harness. I have a 2000 Sunfire and just spend four hours chasing down the exact same problem. Check the three bulb wires. If you have 12 V on all three wires the reason is probably a poor ground connection. On mine the lights are grounded to the chassis under the battery tray and air filter. Make sure it's properly grounded. Next trace the wiring back further. I found a large (15 pin) plug(under the battery tray)that had a hole ate through it from an earlier battery leak. To get to the plug you need to remove the battery and air cleaner box. I found that the ground pins where melted probably due to an power surge. I cut the ground wires on both sides of the plug and connected them directly instead of through the plug. Low- and high beam are working fine now.
