The Dodge Stealth was manufactured in Japan by Mitsubishi, its sister was the Mitsubishi 3000GT. Dodge stopped selling it because sales fell too low.

Under the dash, drivers side almost all the way against the side of the car, tucked up next to the fuse box. It's a white connector.

WOW! Now this is a REAL Pain in the A$$. If I were you I'd get a Garage to do this one. I have done it but man that sucked the big one. Sorry if I'm being negative here but this is a job for the Pros in my mind. You have to drop the steering column and pull out the dash components, it ain't pretty! If you want to do this, then a Shop Manual is a must in my mind.

The air in the antifreeze on a 1993 Dodge Stealth will bleed out if you leave the coolant cap (the cap that screws onto the radiator hose connecting tube, NOT the antifreeze overflow plastic cap) off while the engine warms up. After the thermostat opens when the engine is warm, the antifreeze will start to flow from the engine, through the upper radiator hose, and into the top of the radiator. When you do not see bubbles at the filler neck where you removed the cap, the air should be expelled and you can put the cap back on.

the easyest way is to take your pass side wheel off pull out the axel drain the gear oil out of the tranny makes it easyer to move unblot the tranny if your anti freeze hose is running into your motor but is bolted on to the tranny be very carefull when taking it off you will get showered. youll have to take your starter off to. once you get the tranny off your clutch is right there, youll have to take you throw out bearing off the clutch and the preasure plate. get your preasure plate resurfaced or replace it. this is about a 6-9 hour job so clear your day

your throttle body need to be reajusted. there is a screw on the it take a screw driver and raise the level of rpm 'It's your fuel filter. trust me. it's happened to me before. As you make a sharp turn the clogged sides of the filter won't allow fuel through , then after you straighten out your fuel is taken from the center of the filter which is not as clogged.' you need to replace either your coolant temp sencor or it could be your thermostate...but most likely it the sensor...i had this prob and i just replaced both to be safe

I don't think there is a problem. New cars have paints and coatings on the parts for shipping. When the car gets hot, these paints and coatings burn off thus giving off burning smells. We drive Kia vehicles and they have a very strong burning smell at first. If you get the same smell, may be normal. It not, then the first car's smell may be sign of something unusual. If It Smells Like butt LOL Its ur brakes and its perfectly Normal Your Fuel Also Has something to do with it try to sticc to supreme for a while dont mix different octane grades after a couple hundred miles the smell should be gone!

on a 1993 Dodge Stealth rmove the battery plate and its on the left hand side on the fire wall towards the bottom.

I had the same problem it was just low on oil. ******************* It's usually lifter noise. It can be particularly nerve-wracking after the car has set for an extended period. As suggested, keeping your oil at the correct level will minimize it, but you might hear a little bit of lifter noise on every start.

The brake lights and all of the rear lights can be access through the inside back molding in the rear. there are little knobs that you turn to access them.

For 94 & newer Dodge Stealth models, The fill plug is located to the front of the manual transmission case (Front of the car). The drain plug is located on the outside passengers side of the transmission case, toward the bottom (obviously). Make sure to remove the fill plug first, with a 17mm wrench. Drain plug is also a 17mm. Once the fill plug is removed, remove the drain plug. Clean off the drain plug, as it has a magnet, to capture metal shavings. Put the clean drain plug back on. Easiest way to fill the transmission case, is to buy a pump kit. Makes it way easier to fill, and will attach to the gear oil bottle. Put the hose into the fill hole, and begin pumping the gear oil. Once it starts spilling out of the fill hole, you're done. Tighten the fill plug, and let 'er buck.

your syncros could be going bad...this is very expensive and a pain to change

Yes, you will need an analog multi meter (the one with a needle) I bought one from wal mart for about $8. Underneath the driver side dash is a fuze box, right next to it should be a white module that's open and has 12 pins sticking out of it. Connect the red lead to the one on the top left #1 and the black one on the bottom right #12--watch the meter needle--it will move slow (sweeps) that is representative of a number, then it will stop and then start to sweep fast--count all of the sweeps-slow and fast. You need a book to tell you what the codes mean. There's a website (316 garage) there is a ton of info on there.

Had same problem with my 91. ECU had leaking capacitor.

see previous answers, but if it idles high it might be the Mass Airflow Sensor. if your car idles too high for too long and you keep driving it, you could burn out the transmission module (very expensive )

Could be that the wrong size tires are installed, or that somewhere along the line, a different rear-end gear ratio was installed.
