What if tubes are tied with cramping and spotting can you be pregnant?

If you have had your tubes tied (tubal ligation) and are experiencing cramping and spotting, it is still possible, though rare, to become pregnant. Tubal ligation is a highly effective form of permanent birth control, but in some cases, the tubes can reconnect or a pregnancy could occur in the abdominal cavity, known as an ectopic pregnancy. If you suspect you might be pregnant or are concerned about your symptoms, it is important to take a pregnancy test and consult a healthcare professional for further evaluation.

You are nearing 2 years since having your left fallopian tube was removed after an ectopic pregnancy you still regularly get sharp pains in that side of your abdoman what could be causing these pains?

Basically one thing. There is only so much anatomy in that area. When people present with pain in the left lower quadrant it is often caused by diverticuli. Diverticuli is always preceeded by constipation. You should also rule out infection in the area too.

Will there be deformities in a baby after one fallopian tube is removed?

No. The fallopian tubes just carry the egg to the uterus. The baby grows in the uterus and is not affected by the fallopian tubes

What stage does tube rupture in ectopic pregnancy?

From what I have read, it is usually around 6 weeks. If you have signs and symptoms of ectopic pregnancy, you should get to the hospital as soon as possible because it can be life threatening. Here is a website that tells you about the symptoms and explains everything.

Could you have an ectopic pregnancy if you are bleeding every month but you feel pregnant?

An ectopic pregnancy usually becomes apparent around 5-6 weeks as the growing pregnancy stretches the Fallopian tube and may burst it. Most of the signs and symptoms of pregnancy can also be signs /symptoms of other conditions. see a doctor.

I am 5-6 weeks pregnant. I had a day where I had sharp steady pain in my lower left side of my abdomen at about a 4 on a 1-10 pain scale. It is gone should I still worry about ectopic pregnancy?

the cramps with my ectopic pregnancy came and went ( sometimes days went by with no pain at all) i never had really intense pain until after my tube shredded and at that point the pain i felt most was just the internal bleeding compressing my other organs. i had to have emergency surgery to stop the hemorrhage and remove the damaged fallopian tube. pain and/or cramping on just one side (even if it comes and goes) can be an indicator that the pregnancy is ectopic.

Do twin pregnancies develop at the same rate as single pregnancies?

Yes, twins grow at the exact same rate. The average twin birth is at 37 weeks and they may be a little smaller than average. I had my twins at 36 weeks because I had high blood presssure, my daughter was 6ib 3 oz which is what a single baby at 36 weeks would be, her brother had been affected by my high blood pressure and weighed 4lb 15 oz, but now 17 years later it is apparent that he is naturally lighter. They are both 5'9" but she is still the larger. They are both extremely healthy and doing well at school. A friend (from twins club) had identcal twin girls 2 months after I did. She went to 41 weeks and the girls weighed 7lb 9oz and 7lb 13oz. Good Luck, twins are the hardest work, but the most fun. Yes she is correct. Twins develop atthe same rate but tend to have a shorter gsational time with the average being 37 weeks. Also, A mono-fetal pregnancy has an average birth weight of about 3Kg. With twins, the average is about 2.7Kg. Good luck and keep us posted! Pam

What are the side affects of pregnancy?

When you drink, the alcohol quickly travels through your bloodstream, crosses the placenta, and reaches your baby. Your baby breaks down alcohol more slowly than you do, so she may end up with higher levels of blood alcohol than you have.

Drinking endangers your growing baby in a number of ways: It increases the risk ofmiscarriage and stillbirth. As little as one drink a day can raise the odds for having a baby with a low birth weight and raise your child's risk for having problems with learning, speech, attention span, language, and hyperactivity.

You put you and your baby in-danger, So BE SMART AND DON'T DO IT.

Pregnancy test was negative but convinced its pregnancy?

If you are convinced you are pregnant after you have taken a home pregnancy test that came back negative you should go to the doctors and be tested there.

Some home pregnancy tests are not always correct so you could switch brands and try again.

But my advice is go to your doctors to find out or sure.

What is the first 4 weeks of pregnancy like?

THE SYMPTOMS OF PREGNANCY ARE DIFFRENT FOR EVERY WOMEN, I DIDNT KNOW I WAS PREGNANT UNTIL I WAS 12 WEEKS, I FELL PREGNANT IN MAY, AND IN JUNE AND JULY I HAD A VERY SLIGHT BLEED, JUST A SHOW BUT AT THE TIME I WAS THINKING IT WAS MY PERIOD AND PUT IT DOWN TO STRESS AS WE WERE MOVING HOME AT THE TIME AND THEN MY PARTNER BOUGHT ME A TEST AND TOLD ME TO TAKE IT AND IT WAS POSITIVE! IM NOW 29 WEEKS PREGNANT! BUT I HAVE HAD A REALLY EASY PREGNANCY, WAS ONLY EVERY SICK ONCE, NO OTHER PREGNANCY SYMPTOMS APART FROM AN EXPANDING BELLY! THE THING I REMEMBER THE MOST ABOUT THE VERY EARLY WEEKS WAS SORE BOOBS! BUT AGAIN THIS IS EASY TO MISTAKE AS YOUR PERIOD BEING DUE! ALSO HEADACHES ARE QUITE COMMON AND EMOTIONAL!

Can a pregnant woman be asked not to work because a company doesn't want to take the risk of her having a miscarriage?

Canadian law says no! As long as the pregnant woman can do her job then she can stay on, but some companies will have her sign a waiver resolving the company of all responsibility. If the company should ask the person to leave around 6 - 8 months along then they would have to pay the mother-to-be full wages.

Cholystasis with pregnancy?

OMG, I had this when I was pregnant with my last child. For me, the symptoms were itching. I had itching pretty much all over my body with no visible reason for it. No rash or anything. I had this condition for the last few months of pregnancy and the itching did not go away until the baby was a few weeks old. I was miserable. The best I can remember about the doctors expanation was that I had too much bio-salt in my blood and it was making its way to the surface of my skin, causing the skin to itch. he had me take a horrible cholesteral powder that you put in water like metamucil or something. It did not relieve my symptoms at all. Good luck.

How Long do you have to live after the tube raptures in a tubular pregnancy?

I'm sure that it varies by person, but I just went through this and it turns out that mine had ruptured, I was 8 weeks along, and they told me at the ER that I was lucky that I even made it to the hospital. If you're unsure I would suggest getting up and going to the ER. I was scared to go because I thought that maybe it was in my head, but I'm glad I did go, it saved my life. And even if you don't have money or insurance, the ER can't turn you down, so you really have nothing to lose by going. Good luck and I hope you feel better!

Do tubal abortions from tubal pregnancies expell the embryo from the body like a miscarriage?

NO, a tubal pregnancy is an ectopic, extremely dangerous and you would need an operation to remove it. You would know if you had one as the pain is excruciating.

How do you memorialize your pregnancy?

I think I understand your meaning. You are asking about a kind of 'scrapbooking' for your pregnancy, i think. I would suggest keeping a pregnancy diary and write down anything that happens to do with being pregnant - first flutter, kick, scan, etc. etc. etc. Also you could take a profile and face on photo of yourself every week/month to mark your growth. Possibly think about a video diary too - it is something you and your child can watch in the future together!!
