This question has a false premise. The U.S. flag frequently features in the background when President Obama makes speeches. The most recent State Of The Union address is one example.

It depends on if you a male or female. For females, you will probably grow an inch or two taller. For males, you can see a foot more. It also depends on you and your body and genetics. At that age I was also 6'1. I am full grown now and 7'2".

There are exactly seven red stripes and six white striped on the US Flag for a total of 13, representing the 13 original US colonies. There are a total of 50 stars on the American flag - one for each state.

In 1914, the U.S. has a flag cosisting of 48 stars--one for each state of the union (except for Alaska and Hawaii, which were not yet states)

The red cross on white background is the Cross of St George, the flag of England.

The white diagonal cross on blue background is the Cross of St Andrew, the flag of Scotland

And the red diagonal cross on white background is the Cross of St Patrick, which represents Northern Ireland.

According to two sources I found the answer is red. I actually thought that seemed strange and started looking into it when I saw this question here unanswered.

I found this in Michael Prestwich's book, "Knight."

A list of Catholic church associations of colors lists humility being among the ideas conveyed by red. Knighthood and Catholicism being closely linked, it is not surprising they share color symbolism.

I suppose the ideas on what color symbolizes humility has probably changed through history as I have also found mention of white and gray being the color of humility.
