I own a 96, so I don't know how similar the engine compartment configuration is. But, if it is like mine, you just simply remove the lid and filter and there are a series of bolts that are easily accessible. Be sure to disconnect the intake from the throttle body to make it easier on yourself.

At the tip of the axle that goes into the transmission is a snap ring. Make sure this clip has the open end pointing down or you will have problems with insertion.

A 1994 Ford is OBD I / EEC IV - there is an EEC TEST connection in the engine compartment near the power distribution box

follow these steps 1. take out battery 2. take out fan your gonna need the room 3. take out starter 4 take out transmission 5 use the ailgnment tool that comes with the new clutch. 6 take out clutch with alignment tool and then 7 replace pilot bearing you are gonna have to take out the fly to do this 8. replace fly wheel with new pilot bearing and insert new clutch and pressure plate 9 on the inside of transmission housing there is a clutch release bearing u have to change that after that 10 reserve order steps 1-4 i just got through doing mines any questionemail me rscott12@yahoo.com

What you need to do, loosen the axle nut jack up the car, take off both front wheels. Lock the steering wheel so it is straight. Remove the Rack and pinion from the wheel hub. Remove the lower ball joint on the hub. You will prolly need to use a pickle fork and a hammer. once that is done take out the axle nut. and tap on the axle slightly with the hammer it should be going towards the tranny. once you get that as far as possible move the hub out of your way making sure the axle is out of the hub. Then get underneath the tranny take your pickle fork and place it between the tranny and axle and tap on the handle with the hammer making sure it comes out slowly. Once it is out from the splines you can just pull it out the rest of the way. Repeat for the other side

Fuel filter is located in the engine compartment, driver's side between battery and firewall. Follow the fuel lines.

Ok, this i fairly easy. First you need to jack up the car and remove the tire. There will be a cap in the middle of the brake drum you need to remove this. A chisel and hammer work very well. Once this is off you should see the which is a threaded post coming out. On this there should be a nut, You need to remove this nut. Before you can do that you need to remove the coder pin and nut that are over it. once you have the nut off the wheel bearing should come out when you pull the drum off. you do have to pry the drum off, this may be a challenge so just be careful not to hurt the drum. When you take the drum off go to a work bench. The nest step is to remove the inner wheel bearing, race, and seal, you also have to remove the bearing race for the wheel bearing. first is the seal this will be on the inside of the drum in the center. Remove this with a flat head screwdriver. Next take a chisel and hammer and pop out the inner bearing, Nest remove the races, use the and chisel and the races should be easy to see just pound them out. Now wipe out were the bearings go. Now you install the new bearings and races. First you must install the races which should be included with the bearings. To do this place the race in the hole. Now a bearing driver is the best but if you have one you can use a socket that is the same size as the race. a large mallet pound the race in Make sure to get it all of the way down. do not scratch the inner surface of the race this could cause your bearings to fail Now you do the same for the other race. Nest you need to grease the bearings before they are installed (look up instructions on how to hand pack a bearing if you do not have a bearing packer). Ok the inner bearing will set down inside of the race, nest you need to put the seal in on the inner side. Make sure this is all the way down all of the way around. The bearing will not stay in its race as of right now. Now you need to go back to the car and place the drum back on the spindle. Place the bearing over the and into its race. The next part is very important you need to pre load the bearing. You do this by the nut WHILE TURING THE DRUM AT THE SAME TIME it gets hard to turn the drum now unsrew the nut slightly the drum should turn eaisly but shouldn't be loose. Nest install the catle nut and codder pin. Now you need to reinstall the cap over the whoel thing but be careful not to bend the cap in or it will not seal and dirt may get into the bearing causeing premature failure. Now put the wheels back on and torque the studs. Lower the car and drive take it for a drive. When you get back to make sure you got the nut on tight enough grab the top of the wheel and push it in and pull it back towards you. If you feel it clunk or hear it then you need to remove everything back to the nut and tighten it a few turns. That's it hope it works out for you.

The speedometer is attached to a sensor that detects how fast the wheel is turning. This sensor is programmed to detect the speed based on a specific tire size (ie: manufacturer recommended size)

A tire smaller than original equipment (oem) will have to spin faster to cover a measured distance whereas a larger tire will spin slower to cover the same distance. Meaning, compared to oem, a smaller tire will cover less ground in 1 complete rotation than oem and a larger tire will cover more ground in one rotation than oem.

Since the speedo sensor doesn't know what tires are on your car it can only assume that the oem tire size is on there and therefore cannot compensate for larger it smaller tires than what's specified.

Use a tire calculator to find out how far off your speedo is, or you can purchase a type of speedo healer.

I found the oil filter bottom part of the engine in the front, it looks like a small cylinder.

Remove the transmission.

Take out the battery tray and remove the starter. Unhook the clutch cable and remove the bracket. Take out the speed cable and unplug a couple wire harness's. I removed hood of vehicle so i had more room. Support motor with a jack. Unhook the stablelizer bar and gear shifter. Put a jack under trans and crossmember. Unbolt the transmission and crossmember and it's ready to drop. Time your looking at 4 hours.
