Sport trac od transmission light blinks?

As the manual says that if this light starts to flash on and off or stays on for a period of time that you must have your vehicle serviced immediately. This o/d light is referring to the transmission. O/d stands for overdrive. The transmission uses overdrive to provide more power to the wheels when the vehicle is rapidly accelerating or climbing a hill. After a certain point it will shift into the next higher gear and the revs should go down. The light flashing is indicating that there is either a loose connection or that your tranny is slipping. This is very critical to have serviced immediately. Transmissions are costly and especially with this model I have heard alot of them having to be completely replaced. The earlier you catch it the better. Take your vehicle to a transmission specialist and have them quote you on the problem ASAP.

What causes you to blink?

My almost 3 year old grandson has started blinking constantly. Sometimes it is harder than others and varies in speed. My daughter took him to the doc thinking that it is another allergy symptom (he has many allergies) but the doc says most likely not. The eyes are not irritated and he is not rubbing them. First guess is a tic. They are investigating other possibilities like tourettes (sinking heart here), psychological problems (stress), allergies (gave him eye drops to try for 10 days) I am sick with worry. Hope this helps. Good luck to you. This used to happen to me also when i was younger. Its nothing serious just basically caused by playing in freshly cut grass. Its a form of hayfever. You will get eye drops of the doctor and it will go away after a few days. Probably will come back though the next year or afterwards but an be easily cured. Hope this helps.

How do you remove a Holden commodore tail light?

I just did this to my VS Commodore, behind the light (pull carpet back) are three little nuts, remove these nuts and then take off the perspex, the thing holding the globes needs to be twisted off while pushing the side thing down, the instructions should be on this part. I tried calling my male neighbour to come and change it for me because the husband is away, but he wasn't home so I had to try and work it out. I now have working brake lights again. Hope this helps. Cheers

Your 1998 outback anti theft alarm is on and your car wont start with key any way to reset the alarm?

Dude, sounds like overkill. There is a button under the dash that you depress and you'll be able to start car. If its OEM equip there's a way to disable alarm and still use remote key. to find button (run left hand down the outer edge of dash where padded dash meets hard plastic - then slide to the right and feel or look around . It may be black and hard to find - its small)

== == == == I also have a 1998 subaru legacy outback with the factory alarm system. The alarm was stuck on. The remote buttons seemed to stop the alarm while the button was depressed but it would continue after the button was released. I was not able to turn the alarm off or start the engine. I tried disconnecting the battery cable, and when it was reconnected , the alarm picked up where it left off. The whole time the alarm sounded muffled and not as loud as normal. We used a jumper battery pack. The alarm got louder when that was connected, and i was able to turn it off with the remote at that point. I bought a new battery and that seemed to fix the problem until today. (about 1 week later) The alarm went off as soon as i shut the car off. The remote button would not shut it off. This time however i WAS able to start the car with the key. I drove it home and when i shut it off that time, the alarm did not sound. Not exactly sure what the problem is. I was parked on a slight hill. Dont think i accidentaly hit the panic button or anything. I'll replace the remote battery tonite, maybe that has something to do with it.

Where is the PCV valve on the 2003 ford sport trac?

It is toward the rear of the driver's side valve cover. If you notice that the intake plenum kind of hangs over the valve cover a lttle bit. the PCV is at the end of a short vacuum line, under the edge of that overhang, toward the rear.

How do you remove the front door driver side panel from a 4-door 1999 Jeep Cherokee Classic?

Go to this website. It shows how to take off the door panel. http://www.kwmuth.com/techsupport/pdfs/21000110.pdf

Find a thin yet hard tool of some sort, I used a putty knife to remove both of my door panels. Wrap your tool in masking or duct tape so you don't scratch paint. Starting at the bottom, work the knife in between the panel and the metal of the door. You'll find a small plastic button clips hold the bottom in place. Carefully pry the bottom lose, if you break the clips, they sell them at Auto Zone, but IT'S A HUGE HASSLE finding the right ones. Next take out all the Phillips head screws you find. Should be three of them if i recall. two large ones in the handle/armrest and one behind the door handle itself. Also don't miss the one up near the top-front if you don't have the factory Infinity tweeters. Once those are taken out continue w/ your putty knife carefully prying the panel off until all you have left connecting the door to the panel is the wiring and door latch bars. Those are removed by taking off the small ring clips on the door panel end of the bars. And the wiring if you have it is a simple wiring harness plug. There you have it, a naked Jeep door. I highly suggest putting Dynamat or some other sound deadening material between the panel and door before you replace it, makes a world of difference in the amount of road/tire noise.

Unlock a 1995 Camry without the keys?

Well, if you're not good with a clothes hanger or if you're not a professional car thief, then call AAA. You could break a window but that is not usually a good idea. You are going to have to call a locksmith to have him unlock the key and make a new key.

What is the best way to unlock a 1994 Cougar without keys?

Simply place a beveled block of wood in between the window and the door to make a gap about 3 inches in front of the hand lock. Then with a metal rod bent at 45 degrees just work it in there until you can find the right bar to pop up. You shouldn't have to work it around or down too far. This method worked on a 1998 F150.
