The individual who holds a GED is not necessarily less able to complete an outstanding education within higher education. Its 10% aptitude, and 90% attitude. In other words, its mostly all heart. Very. It can significantly contribute towards your final, overall grade for Year 12. Don't toss it aside and think of it as nothing; your grade can greatly impact on your cohort's results as well, putting them at a disadvantage if you don't do so well. Do as best as you can though.

The military service does not want people who are not disciplined. If you dropped out of school, you lack the discipline necessary to get through military training, which is far harder than school! The military wants people who are mature and dependable, because they have to rely on you when they are getting shot at or bombed, and they don't want people who have a record of quitting when things get tough.

I'm a social worker and former guidance counselor. If you're in high school, stay with it if at all possible. If you can get back to high school, do so. If you are out of high school and not able to return, get the GED. Why wouldn't you? Do it now. You may have no interest in higher education at this point, but you never know. Line yourself up for future possibilities. Don't cause hassles and grief down the road when you become motivated to get special training.

That depends on your total G.P.A., also known as your Grade Point Average that is the total average you achieved in High School. If you only had one D most Universities will overlook it. If you have a D average then I would go to a Junior College to get your average up to at least 2.8-3.0 Then I would apply

I can not find my Ged cetfificate, and I am trying to get information as to how I can get a copy or a replacement GED certificate. I received my certificate April 1973. test was given at Alcorn A&M College. live in the state of Mississippi.
