General Educational Development (GED)
A group of five subject examination, the General Educational Development (GED) test certifies students who pass this examination that they posses Canadian or American high school-level academic skills. GED is developed by the American Council on Education.

Tense refers to the 'time tense' employed on the verbs. There can be as many of these used as there are time tenses to exploit.
present: John goes to the store and buys a quart of milk.
present perfect: John is going to the store and is going to buy a quart of milk.
present demonstrative: John does go to the store and does buy a quart of milk.
future tense: John will go to the store and will buy a quart of milk.
future perfect: John will be going to the store and will be buying a quart of milk.
past " John went to the store and bought a quart of milk.

Omniscience is a measure of how intently the narrator is aware of the inner thoughts of the characters in the story.
full omniscience means the narrator is aware of the thought of all characters
Limited omniscience means the narrator knows the thoughts of only a limited number of character, most often just one.
Objective means the narrator is unaware of the inner thoughts of the characters.
Narrative intrusion is a measure of how much the narrator interacts with the reader.
intimate - Come and listen to my story about a man named Jed.
casual - Now the wild wood weed grows wild on the farm and we didn't give it....
detached - A sign post stands at the cross roads.

How important is the QCS Test?
Very. It can significantly contribute towards your final, overall grade for Year 12. Don't toss it aside and think of it as nothing; your grade can greatly impact on your cohort's results as well, putting them at a disadvantage if you don't do so well. Do as best as you can though.
