Do you have other types of validity of test other than content validity?
Measurement Validity-There's an awful lot of confusion in the methodological literature that stems from the wide variety of labels that are used to describe the validity of measures. I want to make two cases here. First, it's dumb to limit our scope only to the validity of measures. We really want to talk about the validity of any operationalization. That is, any time you translate a concept or construct into a functioning and operating reality (
the operationalization), you need to be concerned about how well you did the translation. This issue is as relevant when we are talking about treatments or programs as it is when we are talking about measures. (In fact, come to think of it, we could also think of
samplingin this way. The population of interest in your study is the "construct" and the sample is your operationalization. If we think of it this way, we are essentially talking about the construct validity of the sampling!). Second, I want to use the term
construct validityto refer to the general case of translating any construct into an operationalization. Let's use all of the other validity terms to reflect different ways you can demonstrate different aspects of construct validity.
Yes, for if we don't then we will all be unnecessarily hurting each other out of ignorance. We can all do better if we recognize our differences and work together. Studies prove that mixed groups are more creative in solving problems than homogeneous groups - so long as they can find ways of working together.
How much did they sell Google for?
Google hasn't entirely been sold. Its co-founders, Sergey Brin and Larry Page were the major shareholders originally, and other top executives of the company also became shareholders. Following the initial public offering of shares in 2004, two other public offerings have been made. However, by the end of those public offerings of shares, Brin and Page still retained $ 24 billion worth of shares. History of public share offers: # Initial public offering, August 2004: 19.6 million shares, at $85 each, total $1.7 billion # September 2005: 14.2 million shares(See note 1), priced at $295 each, total $4.18 billion. # March 2006: 5.3 million shares, priced at $389.75, total $2.065 billion. These three public share offerings totalled almost $8 billion.
(Note 1. Actually there were 14,159,265 shares offered, the number being the same as the first eight digits of the decimal the value of Pi after the decimal point.)

There are a couple of old newspaper photos..but I knew Nicole back in those days. Look at the movie; The Excecutioner's Song ...and Rosanna Arquette who played Nicole....the actress and Nicole could be dopplegangers. Those of us of that age and who were in those wild circles back then and knew Nicole (Jim Barrett, hubby of Nicole, was an old friend of mine) were stunned by the almost twin like look.
What is the definition of a Strawperson strategy?
the question to be Straw person strategy
A straw man strategy in an argument is to misrepresent the key point of an opponent's position and present that the whole basis is wrong.
To "set up a straw man" or "set up a straw man argument" is to describe a position that superficially resembles an opponent's actual view but is easier to refute, then attribute that position to the opponent (for example, deliberately overstating the opponent's position). A straw man argument can be a successful rhetorical technique (that is, it may succeed in persuading people) but it carries little or no real evidential weight, because the opponent's actual argument has not been refuted.

What factors affect the performance of multi-national companies?
There are various factors affected company performance, particularly for multi national company. One classical answer is the company competitive forces as explained by Prof. Michael Porter Ph.D. The competitive forces includes the threat of new entrants, threat of substitution, bargaining power of suppliers and customers, as well as the intra industry competitiveness. This theory basically determines the market and industry environment setting in which the firm operates. The more recent literatures suggests that intra industry performance variations are due to recourse heterogeneity within the firms, which is also known as resource based view. Some resources uniqueness such as valuable, rare, imperfect immitability, and non substituteable gives competitive edge of the company. When the environment become more unpredictable, the company's ability to adapt determines the sustainability of company performance. Dynamic capability, that is the ability of company to learn and adapt to any situation, becomes key factors. Performance of multinational company are basically affected by both type of perspective: market and its own resources. Global industry environment will likely be the most important aspect for any MNC. The ability for MNC to stay global and yet be competitive locally will be the differentiating factor that makes the MNC to sustain in hard competition. Competitiveness locally, will be much determined by its resource specificity following the RBV. The MNC's ability to adapt is crucial. MNC headquater may become the driver for the dynamic capability, but also can be the source of rigidity. Headquarter, which normally thousands of miles away, most of the time forget that local environment has more significant impact to the business than the global one, as viewed by the headquarter.
