How do you defog windshield of 1994 Honda Civic?
first, clean all the windows inside and out, any glass cleaner (blue) will do, always use a clean towel or paper towels. turn on defrosters and defogger and let the outside air come in, circulation button/dial light off, refer to your manual, this button/dial has this arrow w/c shows flow of air from the outside, for some other models it has this "AUTO" button, just activate then set desired temperature. or open the window/s a bit. rule of the thumb! a clean glass has fewer of chance on forming fog and if inside air cant escape it will fog. try blowing slowly w/an open mouth on the inside of a drinking glass... and try blowing it fast w/ your lips away a bit from the glass... youll see the difference.
Does a 98 Honda Civic ex have a fuel light?
Well I don't rightly know. The 98 Accord does have one. Try this. Open your owner's manual and read. If it has one it will be listed.
AnswerYes there is a fuel light in a 98 Honda civic ex, It is in the upper, mid-to-right hand side of your dash. However, I will warn you -- when it comes on, it's not a warning, you are out of gas. I know this from experience so don't try it! :) :) :)Does it mean when there is a lot of oil coming from the tailpipe?
It means you need to rebuild the engine especially the rings and seals. If it is a Honda, you can get a replacement motor installed for cheap. Well worth it too. They are either JDM (Jap Domestic Market) or USDM (US Domestic Market). A rebuild will be more expensive than any replacement engine. You can always sell your old engine as a running engine in need of a rebuild due to blowing smoke or oil. It is not worth much but it is worth something, Maybe about 30% of the actual cost for your replacement engine. Red
How do you change a 1994 Honda civic headlight switch?
This is easy, you will need a #2 cross-tip screw driver.
(1) first thing you should do is disconnect your battery to keep from damaging the new switch.
(2) remove the lower dash panel ( the one by your knees) there is only 3 screws holding it on.
(3) Remove the steering column cover.
(A) Use a flat tip screw driver and put it between the upper and lower section to separate the 2 halves. Be careful not to break the clips that keep them together.
(B) Remove the 3 screws on the bottom of the lower steering column cover and that will drop down.
(4) remove the 2 screws at the base of the switch and the switch will come off.
(5) do the reverse to install new switch.
hope this helped.
What is the anti-theft code for a Honda Civic 2500 car stereo?
You must get the serial # off the back of the radio and the dealer can provide the code with this #. Look in your owners manual and you may find the code written down somewhere. No one can tell you the code as they are different on different cars. Before you go ripping the stereo out to find the serial # on the back, call the dealership where you first purchased the vehicle. (Or where it was first sold.) Their service department may be able to look up the serial # and radio code based on your VIN. Handy Tip: After running back to my dealer 2-3 times for the code, I just added my radio code into my cell phone as a speed dial for "radio." I figure my cell phone is more likely to be on me when my battery dies than the nifty wallet card that Honda gave me.

no because it doesnt have the right proportions and air intakes. The ECU is located on the passenger side under the carpet. Don't waste time looking for a OBD plug, that year uses a sequence of flashing lights that can be observed through a "port" window that is in the center of the ECU.
How often to change the timing belt in a Honda Civic?
In the interest of taking good care of your car, this should be done, in addition to replacing the water pump, around every 100,000 miles or less.
It's not advisable to exceed that mileage, and it's important that you replace the water pump in addition to the timing belt while the engine is apart.
Generally, not a very expensive maintenance task compared to European or American cars. it should be in the neighborhood of $500 or so from a reputable mechanic, although it can be noted that it is only about $100 in parts and the rest is labor overhead costs. So, if you know someone or have a good mechanic or the know-how to do it yourself, that's your best bet. Nonetheless, an important maintenance task to stay on top of if you want your car to continue to run(and well).
