What size speakers does a 93 Honda civic del sol have?
And for those of you that were interested in the actual question the Del sol has 5.25 in the front. The rear is unknown. [edit]They have 6.5 inch round speakers in the back. If yours don't have them, then the grills will cover the holes with material which easily cut away. If yours don't have them then you'll also be missing the necessary adapters to fit them in there. The enclosure looks like an L and the speaker goes in the right angle of that L. You may get lucky and buy the adpater/retainer on ebay, otherwise you can fabricate a retainer out of sheet metal. My 6.5s fit perfectly inside the hole, I just fabricated individual retainers for each screw that held on the grills. Hard to describe here without a picture.
How do you replace the radiator on a Del Sol?
To replace the radiator on a Honda Del Sol, first ensure the engine is cool and disconnect the battery. Drain the coolant by removing the drain plug at the bottom of the radiator, then disconnect the upper and lower radiator hoses, along with the transmission cooler lines if applicable. Remove any mounting bolts securing the radiator and carefully lift it out. Install the new radiator by reversing the process, ensuring all connections are secure and refilling the coolant system.
If you can smell hot ATF it is probably leaking from somewhere and getting all over the exhaust. Look very carefully for any leaks. It could be dripping from the seal around the transmission pan or more commonly out the axel.

How do you change the oil in a Honda Del Sol?
1. If you have been driving, let the motor sit for at least 30 mins...the oil will be hot.
2. Looking under the front of the car you should find two tow hooks, it goes to reason that if it can tow the car, it can partially support it, place your jack directly underneath it.
3. After jacking the car up to a comfortable height for you to crawl under, place a safety stand somewhere nearby on the frame. THIS IS A MUST.
4. Locate the oil pan, it should have a hex bolt protruding out of it.
5. Place your oil catch underneath the bolt and use a wrench to start to loosen the bolt, once it's loose enough oil will start to come out, I hope your wore dirty clothes because you're going to get oil on you.
6. Allow the oil to drain and keep an eye on it, when the oil only comes in intermittent drips every couple minutes, your probably good. It's usually a good idea to change your oil filter as well.
7. Replace the bolt in the oil pan ensuring that it is tightly secured (Not so tight you strip the bolt).
8. You probably have the D16Y8 or D16Z6 motor, both take about 3quarts to refill, i use Royal Purple 10w30 but it's good to check the forums and see what other people use, Full Synthetic may not be the best for your car.
9. Once you put the oil in, check you dipstick and the level should be between the two dots, if it's too high, drain a little, and if it's too low, add a little, make sure to wipe the stick between each reading so you get a clean read.
10. Take the oil catch and yourself out from under the car, along with the safety stand, and let the car down slowly off the jack.
Your Done!

Will a turbo stress and or shorten Del Sol vtec dohc engine life?
It all depends on the engine tunning, if you install a Turbo in a stock B16 or a D16 the engine cant take the Turbo out put, Thus stressing the engine and melting or burning your pistons. Proper engine tunning is needed! Like stronger crank shaft, forged pistons, strong connecting rods, high performance oil and gas pump, high octane gas,and performance cams, to name a few. Proper engine tunning and maintenance can increase the Turbo and engine lifespan.
I accidentally did this when I was changing out my door handles. You need something long and thin like a yardstick or a thin stiff metal tube or something of the sort use the poor sealing ability of the roof to your advantage and slide what-ever your using as a tool down between your glass and your rubber seal. Jam it in the door lever and pry outwards and walah! door should pop right open. It's basicly just poking it with a stick and fiddling till you get it just right.
