Where is the starter solenoid on a 1993 300ZX?
It's located on the bell housing of the transmission (where the transmission connects to the engine) on the passenger side. And in case you don't know where that is... it's on the underside of the car just behind the engine.
I had my timing belt changed at 87,0000 miles at the Honda dealership. They said that the water pump also needed changing at the same time. I think I paid around $320.00 for everything.

Where is blower motor on 1995 Honda Passport?
HI,
My name is Dante and i own a 95 passport and my blower stopped working.
The blower is located inside the car on the passenger side of the car, right below the Glove compartment. When you look under there it looks like a circle, I believe it has three or four screws holding it in place.
Take out those screw and the should just come right out.
OK now the blower should be a white thing that spins at the top with verticle holes in the sides.
Ok now if there is anything in the middle of the white thing, take it out! clean it completely, that's what causing your blower not to work in your car.
after you did all that . Start the car leave the cord attached to the blower and turn on the fan your dashboard. WATCH YOUR FINGERS!!!!! ONLY TOUCH THE BOTTOM OF THE BLOWER!! OK , if the white thing is spinning when you turn on the fan on your dashboard, then it's working and all you have to do is, put the blower part back into the hole and screw it back up and it's fixed the fan was just clogged. But, if the white is not spinning, when you turn on the fan on your dashboard, then you need to get a new part like the one in your hand. You can find at auto zone or an auto parts store of your choice. I hope this was helpful to you and it did let me know at : dantecooper@yahoo.com bbye

How do you change the headlights on a 2001 Honda Passport?
Headlights on the passport are easy to change. The headlamp assembly is composed of the housing, lens and lightbulb itself. Only the lightbulb needs to be changed. The electrical leads that connect to the lightbulb are removed in a "twist-and-turn" action. Unplug the lightbulb, unscrew it to pull it out of the assembly. Reverse the process to install. Should take about 5 minutes.

How do you change the EGR valve on a 1998 Honda Passport?
I don't have a '98 -- I have a 2000, but I am betting the fix is pretty similar. This was maybe the easiest repair I have ever done. I had a problem a few weeks back where the car wasn't starting up very well and it would almost stall at times, particularly when it was low on fuel. The check engine light came on and the diagnosis was a P1404 or P4404 (don't recall) that indicated a problem with the EGR valve. Before I ended up replacing the valve I took it off and cleaned it, replacing the gasket before reattaching. The valve is right up against the firewall slightly to the left of the engine block and has an electrical sensor plug on top. Disconnect the plug and remove the valve by removing the two bolts on either side. I think it's an 11mm. Anyway, once the bolts are out and the plug is disconnected, it should come right off. If it's black and caked with carbon, chances are the EGR is your problem. I've been told it's common with Passports and Rodeos. You can clean it with some brake dust remover and an air compressor or just replace it. If you push down on the valve and it doesn't pop right back up or sticks after you've cleaned it, just replace it - the valve is bad. I put mine back on after cleaning it and it failed again four days later. Probably not a bad idea to replace the gasket either way.
A new one is probably around $120 - $150, which is really not too bad. This was seriously the easiest repair I have ever made on any vehicle I have ever owned. It took literally five minutes.

Where to check transmission fluid on Honda Passport?
On an 01 Passport the Automatic Transmission is checked from underneath the vehicle. Get it up so you can get under it and go back to the middle of the vehicle. I had to come in from behind the passenger side wheel. There are two drain plugs in one pan. One is higher than the other and it is the one to open to check. Pull the upper plug and inject transmission fluid until fluid starts coming out. The opening is small and you need some sort of pump. I used a 60cc slip tip syringe and a little 3/8" tubing and injected fluid until it started spilling out. Then I took the tubing out, started the car, and with the brake on so it wouldn't move, put it into all the gears a couple times (R,N,D,3,2,1). Then repeated the task until it started to overflow again. Put the drain plug back in and tighten it back to specified torque, and you are ready to go. I actually drained all the fluid and replaced it with new fluid. It took less than a gallon to refill it.
Why is the 4 wheel drive light flashing when I am in 2 wheel drive on my 1998 Honda Passport?
If a starter has been replaced vacuum hoses may have been damaged. There is a junction of vacuum hoses under a starter. (at least 8) Make sure all of them are connected. i have the same question. My 1997 Passport 4 wheel drive stays on all the time.
