Now this is only my opinion. I bought my Pilot used and there are a couple of tweaking things that I want done. Nothing that is wrong with the car just things that the previous owner neglected. For example, there is moisture in one of the headlamps. The entire assembly will have to be changed. Had I owned the car when this first happened, I would have had it fixed. I am just that particular. I LOVE THIS CAR! It rides great, gets great gas mileage (rated for 16/22 and I usually get more like 17/24). Last night in fact, I checked my mileage on some highway that I drove 80 + for 4 hours straight and I got 23.57 MPG. Not bad for a full size SUV not to mention that I have 4WD. Buy the Pilot, you won't be disappointed.

I have a 2006 Pilot and I reset the oil life meter by holding in the dash button (the one used to toggle between the odometer, outside temp, oil life, etc) for 30 seconds. It starts to flash at about 20 seconds and will reset at 30 seconds.

I think I saw it in Edmunds. Partially covered it looks like a version of every other SUV coming out.

use a tiny screwdriver to pop off the plastic piece that you push to turn the light on, then the bulb just pops out

1. Find the "hinged" side of the plastic light cover (the side that doesn't go up and down.)

2. Insert the tip of a flat-head screw-driver between the plastic light cover and the surrounding frame. The tip should be on the side of the hinge, about 1/4" away from either corner. The cover will pop right out.

3. Use your screwdriver to pop out the light bulb.

My EX-L required a 12V-8A bulb.

Read the owner's manual re: lemon law. the rules vary state to state. My 20+ years in auto biz is California. In Ca. there is no "cooling off period". It's a done deal unless the dealer agrees to your request. However if they cannot repair problem in the required time frame and within X # of visits, They have to buy the vehicle back or some variance of that depending on the specifics of your situation. DOCUMENT EVERYTHING! Hope it helps.

open the drop-down plastic door in the header unit used for storing glasses/garage door openers. You will see one Phillips screw - remove it. now, you need to pull downward and backward on the header unit towards the rear of the van - so hard you may think you are going to break it. eventually the two spring clips on the left and right sides will let go and the whole light header unit will come loose except for two electrical harnesses. remove the two electrical harness connectors by pushing in on one side of the connector. then you will have the whole unit loose in your hands and you will see how to rotate out the bulb.

the label on the base of my bulb reads M1.PC579 which looks like a Wagner part number.

An easier method is to pry the lens off from the forward end, which you have to do anyway if you take the console out of the van. Using a putty knife or other thin, wide tool, gently pry the front corner (near the rearview mirror) of the lens downward. The lens will pop out.

To change the bulb, twist out the bulb base from the lamp fixture. The base gets re-used with the new bulb. Use needle-nose pliers to pull the tiny wires from the notches in the bulb base, then pull the bulb out of the base. You will have to bend the wires on your new bulb until they point straight out from the bulb, then push it into the base. Bend the wires into the notches in the base using the needle-nose pliers. Put the bulb & base back into the fixture.

To replace the lens, first insert the rear part, which has a projection about 1/2" long, into the console between the console trim and the push-button switch. Then just snap the hinge back in place.

It's directly on top of the engine, in the center, toward the back. It looks like a rectangle in shape, and has I believe 6 screws around, and one permanent screw in the middle. Just take out the 6 screws, loosen the middle one, and pull it off. Quite easy!
