The new iphone 5 is to have the new iOS5, dual A5 processors like ipad 2, and also likely be a GSM/CDMA phone that can work internationally. This last item would make a lot of sense for Apple, as it would only have to produce 1 phone to work on all carriers/networks, rather than 2- one for AT&T/GSM and another for Verizon/CDMA. First you have to download an app such as MCleaner. Then go to the "Profile" tab and click settings. Look for the "Call Options" tab, next to the option that says "Private Number", move the tab to "Block". Click "Save" at the top and close the application.

If the phone is from a GSM carrier, then you will not be able to use it on Metropcs, however, if it's from a CDMA carrier, then you might be able to but you need to flash the phone first before you can use it on Metropcs.

All you have to do is place your finger on the icon for Skype, hold it for a few seconds and you will see all the apps will start to 'wabble' (shake on the screen). You will then see an x at the top corner of the Skype app, just tap the x and it will delete the Skype app from your device. This method is used for any other app you want to delete.

Plug your iphone into the computer. A window will pop-up asking what you want to do with the device. Click either 'import pictures' or 'open device to view files'. From there, you can drag photos onto your computer.

here's what to do:

1) go into cyberduck/winscp and SSH to the root directory.

2) then go to /System/Library/Audio/UISounds

3) replace alarm.caf with any other file you have called alarm.caf

.caf means Core Audio file so you probably need to do this part on a Mac

I used Fusion to clip an mp3 file and save it as an aiff. then i opened the aiff with Apple Soundtrack Pro and saved it as a Core Audio file. The whole time I kept the save settings as 16-bit /44100 kHz /1411 kbps bit rate, just like the original. The only thing different about my file is the length and maybe the dB, but it worked.

4) reboot the phone, you must reboot for Core Audio to reload it's files!
